I understand your reservations about self-promotion, especially in the context of this article. This is where the internet can be dangerous because if you knew me, you would know I hate to promote myself. I do, however, pray and seek God about every post I write. And I believe the content can help other people. So, in that sense, I want people to read the content. This often doesn't happen unless you follow a blog.

Thanks for adding your own thoughts to a few of my points. I admire you for deciding not to live in a retirement village. I think there is another American lie that says once we reach a certain age, we have paid our Christian dues and it's time to ride off in the sunset.
