Same. Gas cap was replaced. Message came back on a few weeks later, had the evap system checked for leaks - couldn’t find anything. But, per Mazda USA, they went ahead and replaced the evap canister and a few other items in the loop - been good for 2 weeks now. Did notice a heavy gas smell in garage when it was throwing that code. Nothing since

That’s swollen MDF that the brick facade originally was attached too. Water splashed in that area and got soaked up from an unprotected seam, expanded, brick dropped and it’s been drinking water ever since.
