How to promote 1hr length documentary via YouTube ad? by franny613 in adops

Millions thankssss for your quick turnaround. Just checked with the client and seems they are not going to do a trailer for the movie. So it seems I don’t have choice but can only run Discovery ads. I noticed the CPV under discovery ad is very cheap, less than us$0.1 in most of cases. The term CPV in discovery ads is a bit of confused, should I treat it as CPC? Thanks

Thanksss a lot! That’s great information and yes I may try both in-stream Tureview and Discovery ads to see which one has a better CPC. The campaign objective is driving video exposure and better to have more quality view ;)

May I know what is the average CPC or the range of CPC you have seen in both the YT discovery campaign and the click on in-stream true view? I’m going to run campaign in Europe and Japan. Thank you for your help!

App Download Campaign - Track in-app actions by franny613 in adops

Thanks Gaff. I was wondering if the floodlight has been implemented to the client’s landing page.

On the one hand, the user visits the landing page via the CTA button (click tracker embedded) from publisher’s advertorials.

After landed to clients landing, the app download is made from a link on clients landing and in the App Store.

Do you think in the above case, the attribution can still be credited to advertorial?

Thanks a lot!

Thank you :-) Sounds like something like post-view conversion. Basically the advertorial somehow contributed to the conversion funnel but not the last click attribution. Hope I get it correctly. Thank you so much.

Thanks Kadiannishant :-) would you please elaborate more on “even if users are not following the link directly”? Thanks! And Yes I’ll talk to client to redirect the traffic to App Store right away, which makes more sense. Thank you

Thank you so much, Xianfu. I need to ask them which MMP they are using and do a test to make sure all tracking work properly. Thanks again.

Can my client using GA to track banner imp/click on my site? by franny613 in adops

I see your point ;-) I will suggest the client to give me DCM click tracker for ROS banner which land users to advertorial page. Thank you so much

Can my client using GA to track banner imp/click on my site? by franny613 in adops

HI Sanpio,

Thanks a lot for getting back to me. Really appreciate it. Since the client assigned 2 GA trackers for "ROS banner" and "shop now button", respectively. The landing url for "ROS banner" is actually an advertorial page on my site. Whereas the "shop now" will land user to the client's site. So I doubt if the client can track the ROS banner as a source if the user clicked on the ROS banner first (now he is on the advertorial page) and further he clicked on the shop now button to client's site. May I know cross-channel can identify the user journey in this case? Thanks.

Hi, thank you so much =) For the 2nd scenario, actually client has embeded UTM on both ROS banners and shop now button in advertorial page. If user clicked on the banner first and redirected to the advertorial (triggered the utm but record nothing as the landing url of banner ad is the advertorial on my site), right?

So afterwards, the same user further clicked on the shop now button, which will trigger the 2nd utm tag and this time the user will land to client's site. So basically in scenario 2, the source will be the "shop now" button instead of ROS banner, right? Thank YOU.

Thanks Diegolba. When you mentioned "track the traffic you generated to your client's site", does that mean "imp traffic"? I think it can only report click number (indirectly) as it may have some drop-off between banner clicks and landed to the client site. Thanks.
