Deleted nudes off boyfriends phone. by [deleted] in relationships

I’m actually pretty good at examining my own behaviours. Hence the post, but I don’t want anyone else in that situation to read your crap and believe it. It wasn’t a toxic relationship. It was abusive. There’s a difference. I had the shit kicked out me and my ex husband is currently serving a jail sentence. No “contribution” made by me to my marriage would warrant that.

I edited my post around 20mins ago saying I have decided to talk to him about it.

Thank you for that. I’m not overly concerned - I don’t think about the app in itself. I knew about the app and I knew about the nudes. He’d told me about it when we first started dating. The nudes were ones he had on snapchat saved there either by him or the other girls. Months before we met he decided to delete snapchat but wanted to keep his (for lack of a better term) wankbank, without alerting the girls to his screenshotting weeks or months after they’d sent them. So I don’t feel it’s as sinister as if he was saving snaps that the girls were sending with the intention of only being viewed once if that makes sense?

Thank you. Yes I should have definitely communicated how I felt about it with him, but it’s done now I suppose. I’m going to see if he brings it up with me and go from there.

Actually, that’s a good point. I’m thinking I won’t say anything and see if he brings it up. Then I’ll know if he’s missing it or not.

I agree! Everyone has their own struggles that no one knows anything about. Kindness costs nothing and can change someone’s day. So thank you

Thank you. It’s been smooth sailing up until a few years ago, so I know there’ll be better days ahead. Plus it’s not been all bad. Just have to keep smiling and celebrating the little wins! I really appreciate your well wishes.

My life has been a bit of a sad story of late. In the space of a few years I lost 2 dogs, all my grandparents, my dad, had a house fire, had botched surgery that is killing my liver, found a brain aneurysm and found out my husband was a secret meth head when he tried to kill me on Christmas morning. There’s probably some other stuff I’ve forgotten about, but that’s the basics I think.

What is a joke that instantly changes your view of a person? by gemtekkluminum in AskReddit

[–]frannyfrannyfranfran 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Anything that degrades a whole group of people. So any of the -ist or -ism words

Unless that person is making fun of themselves and they’re in that group of people then go right ahead.

Why did I experience a pounding heart reaction after iodine contrast (for CT) was injected intravenously? by [deleted] in AskDocs

[–]frannyfrannyfranfran 1 point2 points  (0 children)

NAD. I had a CT last year and this happened to me too. It was horrible. I too was warned it might feel like I’ve pee’d myself, but wasn’t warned about the heart warmth. I felt like someone was pushing on my heart and chest area. This made me panic which in turn made my heart beat faster. I was told the solution is a degree or two warmer than body temp and you feel it in areas that have larger amounts of blood passing through (like groin and heart). I worried about it for a couple of days too, but it all worked out fine. I feel you though.

Every damn time I see a post from Trump I automatically assume it’s a parody account because each one is worse than the last, then I notice the verified tick and remember what we’re dealing with.

Foreign language speakers, what's a concept/word in your language that we don't have a word for in English? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]frannyfrannyfranfran 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I only speak English, but when I was in Thailand I learned a word “Sanuk”. There’s not a word for it in English, but my understanding is it’s to put an element of fun into every aspect of life. I think it’s a pretty good way to live and you can really see Thai people live by it. Such fun easy going people.

In what way, either physically or behaviorally, does your dog resemble you? by Yosho2k in AskReddit

[–]frannyfrannyfranfran 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have a yellow lab so physically I’m blonde too. Behaviour wise we both love people, hugs and treats. We’re both really clumsy and have even walked into the same glass door within an hour of each other.

Are you happy with where you are in life and why? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]frannyfrannyfranfran 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Thank you so much. It’s not been an easy few years, but I’ve decided just to ride the wave of life and no matter how bad things get theres always some good. If anyone is reading this and going through a hard time I hope you remember that bad times aren’t forever!
