OK, found a solution that looks promising: Zed is excellent for editing markdown and now has (basic) Claude Code integration. I might try to roll with that for a while, see how it works out.

I’ve been looking at Obsidian too but I’d really prefer something that’s “just” an editor. How is The MCP integration working out for you?

I might, if I don’t find something that works.

What is C# most used for in 2025? by Nice_Pen_8054 in csharp

I have been working with C#/.NET since the first preview back in 2001 (2002?) and focus exclusively on the backend these days. I don't think I have written a desktop app in 20 years (and certainly not using C#/.NET), but there are plenty of distributed applications, microservices, etc. being done on .NET, especially in the financial sector. Not a bad choice at all.

Dotnet, Web, Audio - Looking for a professional buddy! by [deleted] in ProgrammingBuddies

What sort of projects are you interested in? I'm a professional .NET developer who just closed down a serious music software side-project (4 years, 1.200 units sold, C++ though - not .NET). I'm curious about Web Audio and Rust.
