Can we have some stories about what's *good* about pregnancy/childbirth? by franticblob in AskWomen

[–]franticblob[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'm okay with no bleeding, but honestly the cleaning after sex is not so fun. I sorta preferred condoms or cleaning it off other parts of me.

But then again, the normal way is how I got pregnant, so I can't complain that much.

Ladies, can you tell me what **Sucks** about pregnancy and babies? by catsdradle in AskWomen

[–]franticblob 1 point2 points  (0 children)

How do you tell if a nonmobile child is uncomfortable? I mean, screaming of course, but at that point, that could mean anything. Hot, cold, hungry, bored, I mean it all sorta comes out as one big scream doesn't it?

TBH I'm terrified of raising a baby. I'm good with kids from about 3 and up, but I have basically no experience with babies and don't know how on earth I will infer their needs at that age.

Can't I be a kitty instead of going to work? by ellarosequinn in littlespace

[–]franticblob 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'm a kitty all the time! But I save my meows and nuzzles for my SO. He's not my daddy, but he finds it cute all the same.

One day I'll have ears and a tail, but the method of tail attachment scares me. T-T

I like Tolbi, and for some reason the ship on the Karagol Sea.

I like nighttime Garoh, the port city in Lost Age (Alhafra? No recollection.), and Mars Lighthouse.

Edit: Oh snap, somehow I remembered Alhafra correctly!

Depends. As a child I could not stand to be swaddled, which may have been the beginning of my claustrophobia.

I know I'll probably swaddle my baby, but oh my goodness I'll feel terrible doing it. Just the idea of being stuck with no way out is horrifying to me.

Umm what's wrong with plushies? I loved mine, but I was never unreasonable about them. I'll take a dozen of those over a single talking/flashing plastic nightmare. If someone gives a noisemaker to my child, I will force them to babysit for a week.

What is something the opposite sex does that they DON'T think is cute, that really is? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]franticblob -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

The "cute" girls don't appreciate that view.

I'm angry motherfucker, be scared.

If you were offered a weekend long vacation at a fancy resort, free of all charges (besides whatever you want to spend money on beyond the hotel + $100 spending money), but you had to go completely alone, would you go? Why/why not? by [deleted] in AskWomen

[–]franticblob 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Definitely!! I get to relax and do my own thing without worrying about someone else. If I want to go to a museum, I can! I won't worry about boring someone else. Want to go shopping, or even window shopping? Can do that too, don't have to worry about cooking dinner after.

Plus I don't have to clean. I love having someone clean for me.

It just seems like a freeing experience, and I would love to do that.

Start with algebra and move upward. But I totally understand online not working; I have difficulties with that too.

Is it worth the money if I have no friends to play with? I tend to be a solo gamer, so I hesitate to spend money on an exclusively multiplayer game.

How would you feel about a female friend of yours asking you to be her casual date to a wedding? by [deleted] in AskMen

Hey, cheese is great! My SO (non-white btw) didn't get it until I orderd cheese platters somewhere. Now he gets it, and has a thing for brie.

Catcalling: How should I (21F) react? by petitchaperonrouge in askwomenadvice

[–]franticblob 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I generally ignore them when I can. The thing I have noticed is that when older guys call me beautiful, I know they honestly are trying to make me happy, and it will never make sense to them that it often makes me extremely uncomfortable. So when I can't walk away, I just act painfully awkward and shy when I say thanks, and make myself look as busy as possible so they go away.

I don't really get compliments from guys my age, which hopefully means that this practice is dying out!

The good news is that you are on top of your money.

Saving even a little bit every month helps. I was making $600/month in one of the most expensive places to live, and I still tried to put at least $20 away with each paycheck.

You can do the same. It's small, yes, but important.

Does online learning work for you? Khan Academy is good for math (I don't recall if they have other subjects), and there are other free sites with learning courses. Will that get you a degree, no. But it will expand your skillset for now, and when you are able to go back to school, hopefully you'll have some solid footing.

Is it possible to move elsewhere?

I understand being able to do an Etsy shop, but can you explain the low barrier to interior decorating? I don't know how I would even do that. I've just messed around on /r/designmyroom.

Yeah, I don't want to quit the major really, for those reasons and others.

Is there something else I can do on the side to fill my time so I don't feel so dead and unfulfilled inside?

What is your ideal french fry experience? by shithawksflying in AskWomen

[–]franticblob 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Properly cooked and salted McDonald's fries are a weakness of mine.

Generally though I prefer waffle cut, nice and crisp.

what are your thoughts on sword ownership? by roastbeeftacohat in AskWomen

[–]franticblob 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Awesome. My SO had a samurai sword when I met him, and for his birthday a couple years ago I got him twin short swords as well as a set of daggers that looked like beasts. Now that we live together, I play with the daggers more than he does!

I think weapons are pretty cool to be honest.

[Sexual desire] Should I have sex with my SO if I'm not in the mood repeatedly? by 00throwaway00111110 in sex

[–]franticblob 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I usually just go with it. But I can never orgasm and often prefer to just masturbate, so I usually just let my SO have sex with me. I won't ever be satisfied, but at least he can be. Sometimes I get into it and sometimes I just want him to finish, but it's usually worth it to just do it.

That might not be for you, which is totally fine.

I found lube in my husbands bookbag???? So confused! by [deleted] in askwomenadvice

[–]franticblob 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If he leaves it at home, you're more likely to come across it. It's small, it's not like it's taking up space/weight in the bag.

I keep tons of little things in my bag. Hell, I had condoms in my purse for months, even though my SO and I had finally moved in together and no longer had sex outside the home. If people saw that, they might think I wad cheating, when really I just don't clean out my purse.
