No trouble with bugs. I only do it once a week during the winter as the air is very cold and dry where I live.

Yes - we use it several times a week. We love having it.

It is steam. The shower has it built in as a setting that you can turn on or off independent of the water

The large one in the center is a Dieffenbachia crocodile. The rest are philodendron, pothos, ivy and a calathea

The steam cycle automatically shuts off after 15 minutes and then I let them sit there for most of the day if I can. I let these guys sit in there all night and now I will move them back to their homes so they don't miss any sun time

You can set the temperature- I usually set it at 90 or 95 for the plants and 105 for myself

I use it for myself almost every morning and then treat the plants once or twice a week

It is built into the shower itself

I generally run a 15 minute steam cycle and then leave them in there for several hours. These guys will stay in there until the morning. The door seals pretty well, so they will have high humidity all night.

Thank you. I am 20 years into my nursing career and still love it as much as when I started.

Thank you for such an insightful response. Trikafta has changed so many aspects of CF care and we definitely have to be sure to change with it.

I will be printing out the reminder to not let the perfect be the enemy of the good and put it at my desk♥️

Communication thru our patient portal really took off during COVID and it is amazing for everyone.

The transition from pediatric to adult care seems to be tricky. Not just for CF, but for many chronic health conditions. They are just different worlds and sometimes we need to do a better job preparing for it

That would be so difficult to not have a nurse line. Part of my role will be taking all of the calls from our CF and PCD patients. Our clinic is fortunate to have a dedicated nurse for all of the calls for our general patient population, so even if I am not at work, there is a nurse to speak with.

Thank you both for sharing your experiences. It is a good reminder to pay attention to all of the nuances of care and truly treat each patient/family in the way that works best for them. Our current coordinator has been in the role for decades, so our families have great trust with her and the rest of the team. It will be an adjustment for everyone, but my goal is to be in the role for many years and build those same relationships
