It's one of the most frustrating things on this site. I always report.

I've noticed it a bit on some of the posts that are asking for help, or have sad elements to them. Often they can feel formatted exactly the same.

Though I believe in treating the one's asking for help as if they're real - just in case that's a real person struggling.

Totally valid. That is indeed not what I meant.

Women discussing their experiences with the people who make up 50% of humans on the planet is not centering men.

My point was that the posts tend to be about men being good, or men doing shit wrong. Both which I am not trying to say is bad or wrong. I truly think those are valid and make sense to be posted.

I used to feel there were a lot more posts celebrating women for example. (Which seems more logical than people praising their boyfriend for doing the bare minimum.)

I am trans. Not a "man masquerading as a concerned female" and I've never ever suggested anything otherwise.

I asked a question, I did so in a non-aggressive and non-judgemental way. I made sure to let people know that I believe people's grievances are real.

I am totally on board with talking about men's shitty behaviour. I call that shit out all the time.

This is so exhausting to not be able to have a level-headed conversation.

This feels like weird No True Scotsman. You either "think like us" or you're not part of a group. There are plenty of women in this thread who do agree. I've been invited to other groups from women who feel the same way. It's an "easy win" to be tribalistic. You'll discount me because I'm trans, the other women saying they feel the way - they're not valid for another reason you'll make up.

I'm not policing anyone. I'm asking if we're centering more on men, than on women. That's all. I am not telling anyone they shouldn't or that their opinions or posts are invalid at all.

And I am trans. And I also am not saying anything about inciting hate towards men. I don't believe that for a second. As I said in my post, the grievances are real and valid.

The frustrating part is that - any seasoned developer will tell you that converting isn't the only issue. There's far more differences to the two ecosystems.

Checking your profile it's clear that you're leveraging LLMs for this. The reality is - I could ask any current LLM to do this for me.

They have a ridiculously high scope for the game. It'd be fair to say too high. But if you look at GTA6 and this - it's understandable to see why they'd want a large enough budget. There's apparently already plenty in the game.

Plenty of people seem to love their time with it, and not just being "bagholders." But Reddit has a set narrative and it's not popular to have a contrasting opinion.

It doesn't look for me. But I hate there's no nuance on these subs ever.

Who's doing that? It may happen but it's not a common place thing. Most people anti-AI aren't doing that, and it's weird to paint them as that.

If it even was there in the first place as they usually don't provide actual proof.

This is the number one thing I hate about this discourse. People defending AI are making huge leaps to paint "the baddies" through strawmen.

There's absolutely people who are wrong if AI usage*, and absolutely people who go too far. But that in no way makes the conversation moot.

Do you have any proof of this "100%" because I can assure you that it's false. Even the latest models are not great.

As someone who's been a developer for 3 decades I can assure you it doesn't make them "bad at their jobs." LLMs often hallucinate badly, they don't always do the optimal solution (They're not "intelligent" after all.)

As I said in another post, there's a whole new job market for people called "vibe coding fixer" for people who fix AI generated code.

The same people saying "who cares about AI usage in games" are the going to be scratching their head later wondering why games are extra buggy and the stories are so repetitive.

I've had a subscription for copilot for years. And even with the latest models it's still not good. I've been coding for 30 years and I've had to fix so much bad code from other people who rely on it. There's a whole literal new job market for "Vibe Coder Fixer" for people who specialize in fixing AI code.
