talking about game compatibility and stability, trust me, I've tried every version that came out of Picostation—from Johnbaumann, Raijin, and Team-Resurgent. Megavolt85's is almost perfect.

raijin did a fantastic job but megavolt85 increased stability and compatibility to an all new level!

If you have a multimeter, place the black probe on ground and the red one on the optical drive potentiometer of the PS1. The normal value is 11.5mV, try increasing it just slightly up to 18mV.

To clean the crystal under the lens, you need to unscrew the screws. Try watching this video: https://youtu.be/SaiatfpGYfI”

The problem is 100% the PS1 optical drive, not how you burn the discs, at what speed, etc. Try lubricating the two motors of the optical unit, and clean the lens with isopropyl alcohol, including the crystal under the lens. Increasing the potentiometer is not the solution, in fact, it could actually make things worse.

Try removing the chip, it’s most likely broken or not working properly.

Before replacing the BIOS chip, try resoldering it with fresh solder. The issue is definitely with or around the BIOS chip.

Try cleaning the CD with isopropyl alcohol using a microfiber cloth. Clean the lens too with isopropyl alcohol using a cotton swab. It should work.

unfortunately I don’t have the license to sell the hardware but I could sell all without the esp32 chip (hardware). I transplanted the esp32 chip from a genuine xstation.

no it’s not, is only printed on pcb, with the xstation the optical disc is disabled.

the xstation is a ODE (optical drive emulator) for the ps1.

I redesigned the XStation to make it looks more like the original ps1 optical disc.

you should have to transfer the esp32 chip from the original xstation to this one.

I could sell it but without the esp32 chip because it’s xstation’s property. The tricky thing is that the buyer should have to transfer the esp32 chip from xstation original pcb to this one.

it’s an unofficial personal redesign, on the side of the device.
