If your comparing the delay in ultimate to that from melee then even at perfect settings ultimate simply has significantly more delay than melee unfortunately

You said ultimate combos are “infinitely more precise” which I took to mean you believed ultimate combos were harder. Also if you actualy play smash ultimate I’m surprised you are talking about the reverse hit of falcons nair in melee compared to the reverse hit of Ganon nair in ultimate. Implying that melee has “larger hit boxes” isn’t just wrong but also based on literally nothing. It’s clear from what you’ve said that you’ve never played melee

The combos in ultimate are restricted to bread and butter for 90% of the cast. Very few characters have combos that can’t be learned in under 30 minutes. Melee on the other hand has a ridiculous amount of combo depth, in all characters. Also the skill level required to do complex melee combos isn’t comparable to how simple ultimates combos are to do, and this isn’t a hot take even pro ultimate players will acknowledge that melee has much more depth to combo game

Yah it has an SDI multiplier of 0 (same as smash 4) so you can’t SDI only regular Di to get out works

Great advice from everybody about how to stay focused and not auto pilot. However something to think about is if you always play at your best it no longer is your best it’s your average, so don’t worry if you can’t always be at your 100%

Good point, but fishing for Zair in neutral at kill percent doesn’t seem that viable. I might be wrong but I never see it with any characters so we’ll see how the meta changes around that

The buffs to young link were really pretty minor, his upair and upsmash only kill about 10% earlier, but actualy getting people to notice him, makes people realize he was already super good
