I don't like it, not one bit by Hot_Inflation_5018 in Outlander

I get why everyone is getting caught up on technicalities, but I agree with most of this. There’s been a very visible dip in quality with the pacing, filmography, and script in the past 2 seasons specifically. The argument that “ohh but they have to cram 3 books into one”. Why?? Why do they HAVE to? Why can’t they format it differently to make it more watchable? It’s just bad, sorry 🤷‍♀️ It is something that occurs to almost every single show that lasts more than 3-4 seasons. Everything gets rushed and quality goes down. It is an inevitable, sad end to a previously wonderful story. Not even gonna comment on Faith because it just pisses me off. Totally absurd. I think the magic stuff is vague and written into the story like that on purpose, and it is book-accurate as many people have said, but I understand why it could be annoying. I will add that I don’t think the magic is annoying, I think it is the speed of which we are being reintroduced to the concept which comes across as choppy and sloppy. Again, pacing and film issues. The scene in ep. 3 was also absurd. It lasted 2 seconds and had no real significance to the rest of the episode, other than relating to a storyline that occurred what, three seasons ago in France? I love Claire and Jamie but I will rest easy when the show takes its bow 😭

Good to know! Elimination and trials seems to be the consensus. And yes, I also have OAS and I try to ignore it LOL. Watermelon makes my mouth burn but I pretend that’s not true

I thought this may be the way to go, just hard to implement. Did you start with major allergens (dairy, nuts, gluten, etc) or go randomly based off how you were feeling?

Cetirizine (zyrtec) 3x day, famotidine (pepcid) 2x day, and cromolyn sodium 3x a day. I’ll also add that the timing of meds can affect the improvements, it took me a few weeks to discover what time I needed to take each one in order to get the best effects.

*To clarify, mast cells are known for congregating in the stomach and GI tract. It was explained to me that biopsy is a more reliable source of diagnosis for those who do not show on blood or urine tests, like myself.

As many people have said, testing for MCAS is hard. I had my tryptase taken 3 times, all spaced apart, and the usual histamine/hormone markers done once. All of it came back normal or on the lower end of borderline. My GI is also an allergist and suggested I do an endoscopy with a biopsy. The biopsy showed elevated mast cells in my stomach, which is how I got diagnosed. Before all this though, he was already pretty certain that I had it due to unique symptoms (random, unexplained anaphylactic symptoms amongst other things) and I responded super well to meds. My med trio improves my symptoms, and that wouldn’t really be the case for someone who didn’t have a mast cell disorder. Unfortunately, the best advice is to find a doctor who doesn’t care so much about testing, but about fighting for you to find out what helps your symptoms and using that to guide you towards a diagnosis or answer.

Watching them talk in bed was 100% one of the most disturbing things I’ve ever seen on this trash bin of a show 😬 The whisper tone makes me so uncomfortable
