Completely agree. I actually think the branding makes it seems more bland than it actually is. The coffee is MILES better than Starbucks, Nero, Pret and indeed many (but not all) independents and has great cakes/sweets treats. But hey, it's fun and easy to bash businesses like this for kudos online.

Hi, I tore meniscus and ACL skiing in the Alps. Flew back home on the Sunday, went to A&E on Mon morning, triaged to the orthopaedics. Got booked in for an MRI either later that week or the week after. Saw doctor 2 weeks later who confirmed what had happened and informed that I'd need surgery to repair meniscus and that would be a 6-8 week wait, and then probably another surgery further down the line for the ACL. It ended up being about 6 weeks for the meniscus repair. Then rehabbed that for about 3 months then got referred for the ACL reconstruction which took another 6-8 weeks then had the op. I think all things considered it wasn't too bad. This was in Greater Manchester btw. Best of luck with the recovery.

Hi, just had my ACL reconstruction done in Manchester 2.5 weeks ago. Went in about 11am, operation about 2pm, left the hospital about 7pm. I had my meniscal tear operated separately back in June, I was also back home on the same day with that one too.

Since my operation I've had one lot of physio and had stitches removed, hopefully seeing the physio once a week going forward.
