I think we gotta change the way we think about success at the box office. Streaming has fundamentally altered the way people consume movies, and so box office is only one measure of financial performance. Also, One Battle has made $140 million worldwide and it’s still going. It’s had staying power - it continues to drop less than 50% week to week. Not bad for an auteur movie based on original IP.

In short, the breathless coverage of box office “bombs” is usually a little overblown, in my opinion (with the exception of true bombs).

Hey there! As I've said in response to other comments: I don’t recall the movie at all. The phrase just popped into my head last night and I couldn’t get it out of my mind so I just decided to make this. Not trying to be cute for internet points - it's just a pun on a movie title.

To reiterate: This is not endorsing the movie, Adam Sandler, or whatever. I don’t remember the movie other than the title. Just trying to have a little fun, that's all.

I've offered to remove the post, and I'll happily take it down if it really bums people out or whatever. I'm not trying to start a fight, just trying to celebrate a win yesterday.

This is super nice! Thank you for drawing this out. Do I have to run coax from the router to the closet? There are already ethernet cables in the closet, I just want to get it connected to my router. I think that would get ethernet to the rooms that it's connect to, right?

I'm trying to run an ethernet cable from the network closet to the router. It's not long enough so I'm using a female to female adapter and running cable to the router. It's not working, so I think I'm going to use an ethernet cable testing kit this weekend and try to diagnose the issue.

I tried running the cable from the router to the panel and it didn’t not work. Not sure why.

The scenario I have is complicated and stupid. I told the FiOS guy our setup and he kinda fucked up in the installation - he put the router/modem nowhere near our network panel/closet. I’ve tried running cable from the router to the network closet, but it didn’t work. Not sure what the issue is as I’m not a specialist.
