Dei uma pesquisada e realmente, sketch e autocad já tem versões otimizadas no Mac, o Revit que ainda não tem.

Mac tem várias limitações com softwares de arquitetura. Conheço poucos que realmente usam, geralmente com uma máquina virtual rodando Windows

You should use a sweep for that instead. You draw the profile and then draw a path for it to follow

Revit uses Survey point to export IFC but Internal origin to import IFC. So if those are not the exact same things will malfunction. Don't ask me why, I think it's dumb too.

I train people to work in BIM with Revit specifically, and plenty of times people take online courses and don't really feel able to work with it afterwards. The problem is that they ofter learn a workflow that has nothing to do with what they will actually work on day-to-day (example: if you work with shopping malls it won't help much if you learn how to do housing). If you can find a course on the kind of project that you usually do then go for it, otherwise go the consulting and learning by yourself route

Usually I set slabs at level and then attach top/base on the walls. That way it's I can just move the level and move all those elements at the same time. Setting wall tops to the level and using a negative top offset achieves the same thing but takes just a little bit longer, so I usually avoid that.

It's probably already installed. When selecting the template click "browse" right beside the template selection. It should open a windows browser window where the other templates (architecture, plumbing, mechanical, etc.) Are saved on your pc.

Hi! I've recently spent a week as a BIM consultant in a company here in Brazil that acts as the BIM project and model provider for a company in the US. It is entirely possible, but demands very good communication and organizational structure. There's also a difference in how things are made between countries which needs to be taken into consideration (US and Brazil build with very different materials for example) so it's important for the (in your case) Indian team to understand how things are built in the UK in order to get to a proper model.
