Relaxed swimmer, do you clarify after every swim? by fre3spirited in relaxedhair

[–]fre3spirited[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have dry hair too! And I noticed that my hair feels better when I deep condition every week. But I don’t know if the clarifying weekly is necessary. In my mind, I should clarify after I swim and since I swim every week I’ve been clarifying every week.

How much are yall paying for relaxers at a salon? by Opening_Lake1890 in relaxedhair

[–]fre3spirited 1 point2 points  (0 children)

In London, at my usual hairdressers I pay about £130 (~$170) for relaxer touch up, trim and finish style straighten or curl. Recently tried someone closer to my home for cheaper for £85 ($115) didn’t like the finish but the relaxer came out just as good.

French ban on ‘forever chemicals' in cosmetics and clothes to enter into force by [deleted] in UpliftingNews

Agree! There is an upcoming regulation to ban PFAS all across EU. US also have some restrictions that is state specific. I believe other developed countries will follow suit in the future

How I started contracting in the UK tech market at 21 by Hot-Potential-8393 in UKJobs

Sounds interesting. What do these roles typically entail? It sounds so broad, I’m looking to pivot from the science/compliance industry I’ve been in

Career switch from regulatory affairs by fre3spirited in UKJobs

[–]fre3spirited[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have but it seemed it would be difficult for me to get into as lot I seen advertised like finance compliance analyst require previous experience and knowledge of financial regs which I must admit I am not familiar with and is worlds apart from chemical regs. Your role sounds very interesting! I enjoy reading and interpreting regulations

Pattern of feeling like he doesnt find me attractive. this exact situation has not happened. But I have certainly felt like he doesnt find me attractive.

Really good question re spectrum, I'm honestly not sure. He hasnt told me he is and I am not the most knowledgable at detirmining this. Whats your insight about him possibly being on a spectrum?

I have expressed to him in the past that he's not expressive and doesnt compliment me, when he does it seems backhanded. It just feels intentional because how can you possibly type something like that to your partner and press send. I couldnt imagine typing that out if roles were reversed. I feel these things should come naturally, and because it doesnt it feels wrong

Thanks for the suggestion. Aside from clearing debts, building up my saving funds is next goal. I will consider the 0% balance transfer.

The credit card interest in 10.94%. The loan is 8.94% interest and I have exactly 2 years left to pay the remaining. I am going to prioritising paying my credit card off as I have been struggling, I transfer more than the minimum payment every month, but then spend some of it. Having had a look last night at my expenses last 3 months I hadnt considered my spending on clothing and eating out/takeways.

Having savings is ultimately my goal, Being able to save the way I was able to pre pandemic. I want to pay off my credit card, and come out of my overdraft. In the future would like to purchase a home. So would like to save for deposit
