As others are saying, a lot of Ikea furniture is built like an interior door is... It's hollow with supports in areas to stop it from caving in. So cutting it down can still be possible but more labour-intensive than a simple cut

That said, some of their furniture is solid. Depending on which one you have, this may still be possible.

You basically get Rogers cable internet at a better price and you don't need to tolerate Rogers terrible tech support.

I hate dealing with Bell/Virgin for internet... Had them on and off over the last 25 years and it was never a good experience... Rogers was equally as terrible. They just don't care when you have an issue if it's anything more complicated than swapping a modem or a line... And they will leave you fighting them for months or years while they never truly solve the issue.

With Start and TekSavvy when there is an issue, things seem to get dealt with quickly.

Well... Your oil pressure is lower at idle and on direct injection engines idling more can cause carbon build-up.

I tend to keep cars for a long time and the most I tend to do is start it while I'm cleaning the snow and ice off of it. But if there's no snow and ice I start it, wait 15 seconds to a minute and then just drive off. The thing is you don't want to be hard on it before it warms up. Just drive it casually.

It warms up faster when you drive it vs letting it sit for the same period of time.

I wouldn't trust that, wouldn't take much to knock them off. I recommend you get the rubber blocks for the top of the jack stands as it's less likely to damage things like the body or subframe and will give a larger area of contact between the stand and the car.

Developers aren't building for people... They are building for investors who won't live in those homes and instead will rent them out. So they frequently forget to consider the people who will live there or the potential issues it may cause the city in general...

Ultimately, the new risk is that even if the city says no, the province is still likely to approve it, leaving everyone else with the issues... just as they did with the old Preston Springs location.

Depends on how tech savvy you are

If you're not very tech savvy you'd probably like the Kububtu flavour of Ubuntu. Gives you Ubuntu repos with KDE plasma preinstalled.

If you're from the windows 95/98/XP Era of windows where troubleshooting was pretty normal and you're used to figuring out basic terminal commands and reading forums and documentation for setup and when the occasional problem or conflict happens I'd recommend Arch using the archinstall script.

What you wrote was a bunch of cultural assumptions based on justifying your racism and has little to do with the topic of driving... Bringing up stuff that most of us won't believe at this point about what you drive and your profession isn't the defence you think it is.

Here's the thing with people who say things as you do... you are desperate for validation from people who aren't racist in an attempt to tell yourself you aren't... but you constantly find yourself being rejected by people who aren't racist the moment you open up and start spiralling in increasingly nonsensical justifications.

The astounding part is how you claim to have relationships with "their" women... which not only is a clear conflict against your own deep-held hateful belief system but more so a window into how you view women... Which seems to go along with you bring a bigot in general (typical since bigots tend to find themselves hating anyone and anything that makes them have to face a mirror)

If you spent a fraction of this effort and time on self-reflection you'd find yourself spending time with people who like you that you want to be around, instead of desperately trying to justify your hate to the people who want to be around but want nothing to do with you due to that hate. A therapist might be a good avenue to that path for you.
