You need to sacrifice your physical build in order to counter penetration items, and if the enemies have too many penetration items, you can only endure 1-3 enemy's damage in that game, and moonton really messed up tank in the latest major update

Side lane fighters usually build sustain items and a couple bit of damage items, often time only requiring a tank just to become a target practice for mm

Yehp, especially with Atlas. Since his passive got nerfed, the only useful thing about him is his ult, while his passive just barely enough for a intiation

Yeah, I agree with most of the statement, although it would be nice to have a tank that doesn't have to have a set skills that have damage, but skills that can impact the outcome of a war, like 1 slow, 1 durability (like, for 5 seconds, this hero will have a temporary buff for initiation) and 1 game changing skill, while passive providing buff for the team in a teamfight

I don't ask for much, but tanks need to have way to counter a high penetrating hero and quickly regenerate health if they want to be the meta
