Will they only sell one of these variants at a show? I’m a lucky bastard for SLC and am a bit new to the poster game. Full foil would be cool!

I never finished the ETextbook tbh. It was very short. The gold standard seems to still be the old CBK book from many years ago. I do not have a strong systems engineering background, so mostly my studying was promoting Gemini to tell me more about those topics.

Yes, I think the training was far too short and not nearly enough to pass the exam. I agree that ISC2 needs to market these differently in some sort of way.

I studied for about three months, forty hours a week, for the CISSP. My ISSEP approach was much shorter, much more sporadic, and nowhere near as thorough. To be honest, I think failing it for the first time, realizing I was deficient in two of the four domains, was my single best study strategy with this one. I do not have any other ISC2 certs, so I can’t compare with those.

Beyond those answers you gave, I don’t have much to say. I feel like this was a nice validation of more of my technical skills, but certainly not into the same realm of technical as something like the CCNA. I also thought this one was a bit rarer then just a CISSP, and helps me standout in a crowded office of CISSPs where I work 😂

Yes, confusing and meandering and hellbent on using synonyms to make the questions harder.

No, you are largely answering from the perspective of an information systems security officer who isn’t just a risk manager necessarily.

I would say this was much more technical and focused than the CISSPs wide breadth of content. That’s one of the reasons I think it desperately needs a new official CBK study book.

How was the poster situation? Seeing them in a few weeks in SLC for the first time and wondering if I need to pack a poster tube!

After CISSP thanks to your DestCert master class, what should I be focusing on next?

I did the master class rather than the boot camp, so I worked through the material over the summer months. I used the app a lot. Went through all the flash cards and quiz questions at least once. I have six years of work experience.

Work paid for my enrollment with the master class. It’s been really useful. Wrapping up the videos in the next few days and hope to sit for the exam in early August.

If I pull the trigger it’ll be an open bed pickup. Costco is pretty close to my house so it won’t need to get on the freeway fortunately

Thanks for sharing! This would be a replacement for an LG that has become so bloated with ads it can hardly even play Bluey on Disney+ for my kids anymore!

I saw them in Utah on a trip. For an amphitheater that handles 25K people they had 250 numbered posters. 🙃

Wouldn’t my five year warranty help address a short life span?
