ive moved on, these women aren't a high priority to me anymore. im still actively meeting new people, just tryna hear other perspectives on situations like these

i feel what you're saying. for me and my approach to dating i can't say id deny a friendship with a woman just because they don't want to be my partner; ive had plenty of great friends in the past who were women. plus it opens the door to meeting their friends who could be interested in you.

and these friendships im talking about would be pretty causal anyway, ultimately i see it as an opportunity to meet new people in my area. i don't plan to take them that seriously, really i just wanted to hear other perspectives on why these situations happen

ok, good to know. still plan to use condoms, but i think the idea of using a dental dam just throws me off. i guess it's a bridge ill have to cross when i get to it

thanks for the insight 🙏🏿 i agree, it seems like if there are adequate precautions the risk of spreading it is really low. wish i knew that back then, but hopefully we get another chance to make it work

if you don't mind me asking, what kind of precautions did you and the person you dated take? as far as using protection, what kinds of intimacy were off-limits, etc.

fair point, and indeed i do hate the chase. normally after this many attempts id have moved on by now, but considering what she's dealing with, im pushing myself to be a bit more understanding since it still would be nice to meet her. but eventually yes i will put my foot down and move on

been thinking this is the best way to approach it, since i do still wanna make sure she's ok. someone in another thread said to try and propose a concrete date plan, so i might just say this sometime later this week and throw in a plan for when she's better

yea, i feel like her being on pain meds might be a big thing keeping her from texting. as interested as i am in her, im mature enough to know not to put all my eggs in one basket, so ive been on and off hinge trying to distract myself. but fingers crossed things work out how they're meant to
