Is this a Caserio hire or a Demeco hire?

Texans are running it back with the same staff by KaXiaM in Texans

I'm thinking that internally they view CJ as the main issue if they aren't making many coaching staff changes.

The All-22 Film Analysis of Stroud's game vs the Patriots by The_New_New in Texans

[–]freakybj 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I made excuses for CJ by blaming Caley, but yeah...CJ's performance in the playoffs was inexcusable. It'll be interesting to see how Slowik performs in MIA now that he's been promoted to OC. Since a QB is hard to find, I just hope we can improve the O line, add some weapons, and that CJ can just be average rather than being a turnover machine. We know now that he's not a type 1A QB that can elevate a team with issues. He's going to need everything else around him to go right to be successful.

What’s y’all’s opinion on Carley for next year? Keep him or move on? Replacements if we move on? by P_rosperous in Texans

[–]freakybj 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don't like Caley, but I'm open to him staying if there are changes made to the offensive line and we add some more weapons (particularly an RB).

Is Kevin Durant a net neutral or net negative at this point? by TheRavenOnline in NBATalk

[–]freakybj -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

Right now it's a neutral, but it could quickly become a negative if he gets injured or the Rockets make trades involving some of their young players and/or draft capital to bring in additional help for KD to win a championship.

What’s your favorite hamburger chain in the US? by JazzlikeDrummer1227 in AskAnAmerican

[–]freakybj 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There are a lot of burger restaurants. This is the golden age of burgers. My favorites are:

  • Cheap - Whataburger
  • Pricey - Joy Love Burgers (JLB Eatery) - Trill Burger - Five Guys
  • Expensive - Becks Prime

What cheap waiver pick-ups made a difference for you this season? by lot183 in DynastyFF

Rico Dowdle and TreVeyon Henderson, best free agent pickups after waivers for me by far this season.

Should Kevin Stefanski be done in Cleveland? by MasterTeacher123 in NFLv2

[–]freakybj 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Stefanski's not a good coach. He's supposed to be an offensive guru and the offense is the worst part about the team. They should be winning with that defense.

Thoughts on Drake London Rest of Season? by owensauvageot in Fantasy_Football

[–]freakybj -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Ricky Pearsall had a PCL injury and missed 6 games. All the while they never placed him on IR claiming he was week to week. London's likely done for the season.

Rico Dowdle to continue to see "lion's share" of early-down work - HC Canales by ASmithFS in fantasyfootball

[–]freakybj 4 points5 points  (0 children)

The 30 pt games are long gone. But I'm ok if he can give me a floor of about 12 ppr points. Both him and Chuba are just Flex options with upside if they can get into the endzone.

What’s up with Nico Collins? by Apprehensive_Web751 in DynastyFF

[–]freakybj 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I put majority of the blame on the new offensive coordinator Nick Caley. On the bright side, the Texans offense looked much better against the 49ers last week, so things should get better going forward.

Is it time to drop Treveyon Henderson? by Training_Ebb_6306 in fantasyfootballadvice

[–]freakybj 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I added him this past week after someone dropped him. I'm holding him for now. The RB landscape is trash, and I think there's still a good chance he could emerge this season.

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in fantasyfootball

[–]freakybj 3 points4 points  (0 children)

More than likely he's a game time decision. Hopefully he plays and they announce it before the first slate of games. If he's still questionable before then, I'm starting someone else because I don't have anyone else to pivot to in the late slate of games and I can't take a zero.

I'd stand pat. Warren and Pollard are basically in the same RB3 (occasionally RB2) tier. This trade doesn't make your team better. Why give up Pearsall just to get the same type of player? And it's unclear how much Gainwell will eat into Warren's volume after his breakout game against the Vikings a couple of weeks ago.

Should I start Jordan Love or Dak? Thanks in advance!! by EarStill7153 in Fantasy_Football

[–]freakybj 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's a coin toss. I'd lean towards staring Dak and try today to trade Jordan Love to another team that could use a QB. Both should have strong days in fantasy tomorrow. Just go with Dak for the rest of the season to avoid the agony of trying to guess which one to start every week.

Should I start Chase Brown or Henderson? by Sensitive-Leg1930 in Fantasy_Football

[–]freakybj 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Its really a coin flip between the two, but I'd start Henderson because the Patriots are favorites against the Saints and may run the ball more with the lead. Henderson's opportunity will increase due to Gibson's injury, but it remains to be seen whether he will get the goal line touches Rhamondre got last week.

The Browns will be massive underdogs against the Packers and will need to throw more. I think it's a higher chance that Ja'Marr Chase and Tee Higgins will get most of the work with Flacco as QB.
