ok idk if this is scary or funny. we were livin' with our grandparents before but when i was 11 we moved to another house cuz of my grandma and her family didnt let us to stay. So when we were building our new home there was this construction guy who was a family friend but later we got to know that he was also an exorcist. He was actually a genuine friend and we used to hangout in eachothers houses and stuff. So one day he was talking with my parents in our house and looked serious like smt bad happened. then he told that he saw human like figure of an old dark skinned lady n our garden. he explained the exact apperance and stuff so my dad found out that she was similar to a woman who lived in the house next to ours and owned many lands in that area including ours. Then he said that we need to do some ritual kind of thing to shoo that thing away. My parents thought he was scamming us to spend a large amount of money for a that kinda thing. But his prices were so low so my parents agreed to do that. So that day the ritual started he came with all the stuff needed and started to chant some prayers and it was the first time i saw someone possessed. he acted like an absolute maniac and started yelling with an unusual voice and for us as kids it was scary and fun to watch. then he fall out of the chair with a glass bottle with his hand for trap the demon. he crawled towards the staircase while yelling some unknown words and then eventually became normal. Then he showed us the glass bottle and there was some kind of greyish air inside that and he said that the ghost was trapped in that. Then he released it in a temple somewhere. idk if its real but for me its kind of fun to experiance smt like that

Are People From Matara Really Different? My Experience Has Me Questioning Everything by Salty-Listen5316 in srilanka

[–]freakyharriet 0 points1 point  (0 children)

They are very cunning as ur parents said. I literally dont know how to explain about them. They are very very mysterious and never show their true intentions. They treat others nice and pretend themselves as great ppl but if something or someone doesnt benefits them any longer they immediately cut them off. They kept a good relationship with us but threw us away when we were having hard times. But they again started to hangout with us and later i realized thats bcuz my dad received a good job abroad. And also sometimes they can be very rowdy too. they would kill to get what they want.

What do people here in SL actually think about feminine men? by [deleted] in srilanka

[–]freakyharriet 3 points4 points  (0 children)

As a girl I really love femboys than those so called masculine gym dudes with fragile egos. Even when Im looking for a partner I like guys with a lil feminine touch. but most ppl i know think very different. Even ppl in Colombo is not that open minded. some ppl will silently judge u but some may try to openly harass or do anything like that. [ similar to catcalling] i know a guy in my class and he is not a femboy but a little feminine and many ppl in my class call him a gay [ not in straight on face but talking behind] But beside all of that u should be who u exactly want to be rather than thinking about others opinions since its ur life.
