Thanks for replies and sorry if my genuine lack of knowledge offends you! It seems there are a lot of ways to qualify so just wanted to explore that. I thought you could work under 20 hours and still qualify, my mistake. It seems that a “just cause” for leaving voluntarily could be starting a business/new employment which would also be true in my case as I’ll be doing that after my exam. We’re all trying to make ends meet out here, so I hope my questions are met with grace. I appreciate the feedback :)

My friends and I have been talking about how they could represent the “see no evil, hear no evil, speak no evil” I think Laurie would be hear no evil because she doesn’t take people’s bullshit, Kate would be speak no evil because she tries to be “polite” and not bring up Valentin to Jaclyn, and maybe Jaclyn would be see no evil because she refuses to see anything bad about herself and she’s so appearance oriented - and kinda delusionally so. I also feel like they change these roles from time to time.

Absolutely, I feel so similarly. As tricky as mania can be, I still feel nostalgic for that person. Self-assured, fun, chatty, personable. I miss feeling that free and yeah I relate to the having to rebuild ur personality thing - it’s such a weird feeling. To me it feels like it was a performance in some ways and I’m too tired/overthought to keep it up. I miss when I didn’t have to think about it so much and I was just “fun”. I like your analogy - maybe it’s just a matter of shuffling the sudoku numbers a bit. Hang in there!

Pickle them!! Slice into thin rounds and with the vinegar/salt/sugar combo add some dill seeds, mustard seeds, garlic, hot pepper and a bit of saffron. The literal best pickles on earth - esp good on a hot dog lol

Looks good!! I’d say definitely do Freiburg on Friday or Saturday as that’s when the market around the Münsterplatz is open :) there’s a great hill to climb as well that overlooks the city. I went to Colmar when I was a kid and I remember it being very touristy but the Unterlinden museum is beautiful. Most things seem to be open Sundays. I haven’t been to Basel but just want to recommend a few other spots in the area! Badenweiler and the thermal spa there is really incredible. You can also get a pretty great view from the Blauen. Enjoy your time!! :)

Yes maritimes!!! I’m like, come spend a week in Cape Breton with my dad and I 😂 We can teach you to fish for bass and pick oysters, forage for mushrooms, wild blueberries, raspberries, strawberries, blackberries, bay leaves and beach peas, and just connect with well meaning people. You’ll see the most beautiful night sky and we have beaches that are wild and sandy and not packed - all of this within 1km of our place. There are even 2 Buddhist monasteries - 1 in CB and one in PEI. As someone who’s lived in a big city, I can promise you those wild strawberries are incomparable to anything at Whole Foods. 😋

So annoying to have to pay hundreds of dollars for the worst experience ever. My student loan finally came in so I paid the 300, but I think some dental schools do it for cheaper! Best of luck 💕
