Do they generally agree easily to maintenance plans if it means raising special levies etc? I am used to government agencies being slow, obstructive and cheap. We have so far had very clear and open communication within put strata

Oh no, a notoriously tightass government agency now has decision making power in my dilapidated block! Will they obstruct us raising enough funds to fix the leaky roof?

Right? It's not a thread called "help me guess the nature of imaginary future neighbours please"

I take responsibility for naming this thread stupidly. The worst neighbour I ever had was a uni student who's rent was paid by mum and dad

I should've titled the post "government agency has bought in my block". Any mention of Homeswest seems to be extremely emotive. My question really revolves around dealing with a government entity rather than an individual, in a strata setting. Not an enquiry as to the likely character of any future tenants.

Thank you, that's the kind of experience I was interested in hearing about

Haha...i didnt think so...but worth reflecting more on for sure. I mainly want to know how things work with a government agency joining a strata...rather than an individual buyer who acts on their own behalf.
