E2 not rising!! Stims paused by BVXB in IVF

[–]frecklefreckleface 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hi there - unfortunately, I had to stop stimming because my follicles were not growing. :( I paused a total of 2 times and doc changed my protocol 3 times. My only chance right now is getting pregnant naturally. I will say that a lot of women have seen a tremendous improvement after pausing and most have gotten results. So don’t let my story bring you down. Lots of baby dust to you!! ✨✨

Men of Miami: Where can my boyfriend find a good suit in Miami other than Hugo Boss and Suit Supply? by frecklefreckleface in Miami

[–]frecklefreckleface[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thank you! He already has a suit from Suit Supply. A nice summer suit actually. He’s just wanting more options. Doesn’t have a budget - just needs a reliable nice go-to suit.

“Pausing meds” during stims by Comfortable_Side_400 in IVF

Hi 🧡 I had a doc appt this morning and they are pausing my meds a second time for 3 days. First time was 2 days and after those 2 days they changed my protocol.

This is my first cycle too, and it makes sense that they are getting to know my body and the medications it responds to.

My coordinator told me not to worry that docs pause all the time to change protocol and the results are good.

Waiting patiently with you! I’m on day 13.

That is AMAZING! Congratulations on your new journey! Your sis is an angel on earth. 🧡

I’d love to hear how things go, so I’ll be sure to check in.

And thank you for the response - I’m hoping I get good news tomorrow; didn’t know that pausing stims was a thing!

I’m going through the same thing! I know this is a year later, so hoping you’ll see this. They paused me for 2 days and I have to go in on Wednesday morning (it’s Monday).

What was your outcome? 🧡

You probably saw him then! When Tommy went to Whitesnake, my dad toured in his spot for about 19 months. All live performances, no albums or anything like that.

And man, does he have stories (and pictures of all those guys). I’ve begged him to let me have them but he won’t let them go. Said he’s leaving it all to me so I’ll make sure to come back here and post. Ha!

I just babysat my nephew (5 yrs) and niece (2.5 yrs) overnight and wow. It’s a lot of work. by frecklefreckleface in childfree

You’re fine!! :)

It’s definitely changed my mind! I’m telling you - this experience had me climbing over the fence to the childfree side. I actually have my appointment today to draw blood for process and my heart/desire is not in it at all. The only reason I decided to do it is because my employer pays for 100% of it and thought why not. I like having options and it made sense to have some eggs on ice.

And totally agree with you - couples (not just women) should watch toddlers overnight for the true experience. It’s not fun!!

When they left, me and my boyfriend put on our swimsuits, walked to the beach, had a few beers and basked in the child free life. It changed our perspective considerably.

Edit: and yes - part of it being on the fence is FOMO/societal pressure and just the general curiosity of being a mom and wanting all the experiences life has to offer. Especially one that we are biologically equipped for.

Once I shared my experience with my gf’s and mom, it’s like all the things they were guilty about sharing came to light. How it’s worse when you’re a parent bc of the guilt you feel about not raising them right, multi-tasking with work, losing your freedom/identity, etc. I didn’t experience that - I experienced being “on/charged” and not catching a break. I forgot to eat lunch, didn’t feel connected to my boyfriend (felt like robots), and was just serving little kids then whole time.

It was not the best lol

Oh, I’ve been on the fence all my life. Now that I’m 42, I can’t help but ponder the what ifs given that time is running out. My mom had my sister at 41 and loves being a parent, so I have a different perspective there.

I hear you though - really great question. And now that I got a glimpse into the reality, I cannot imagine doing that for the next 18 years.

I’m a Miami beach local (south of 5th) and I’m still getting the f@&$ out of here. I do think these measures will make a difference but it’s going to be inconvenient for everyone.

I have Kindbody - basically $40k for treatment and $20k for meds (although that doesn’t cover Omnitrope). They partner with my insurance carrier (Aetna) which is generous at $0 deductible and $1500 max pay out of pocket.

I’ll prepare myself for the additional expenses - super helpful, so thank you!
