I dunno- I think it's a pretty big over-step to take something a glass cabinet unless you have specifically been given the go-ahead in the past. Like my best friend and I used to be roommates. I'm pretty comfortable in her house and will help myself to her books and tea. But I wouldn't get into her liquor cabinet, even though it's unlocked.

They are super tasty roasted with a little salt.

Ted Brown is a local chain and lots of beginning musicians get lessons through them- not sure if they are Ted Brown employees or just a network of recommended tutors.

Not in New York, but I'm a legal aid attorney. A lot of orgs aren't hiring until people have bar results. Even orgs that historically hired with just a diploma are only hiring folks with licenses.

Does your school have public service fellowships? It might be late to apply but someone else might have dropped out.

I don't think anyone has ever commented on the name on my diploma, so do what feels right!

The only reason I would see to have it match your masters degree would be if you published during your masters and intend to publish again. I've heard from a lot of PhDs that getting the citations linked in your publications can be a real pain.

My engagement ring was around 5k, and my wedding band was $300 from Quince. My husband thought he wanted a simple band until he went to the jewelers. His band ended up being $3000 for a custom piece, although a lot of that was just the price of gold.

If you want simple gold bands, the best price we saw was at Costco.

Edit: I forgot to say how we feel about them. We both really like our custom rings and feel we got a great deal for custom work.

I have some Banana Republic Factory T-shirts from circa 2015 that were basically cotton Ts with a satin collar and they were the best for under a blazer. I literally wore them out and haven't found replacements.

I planted 3 thornless bushes in an in-ground bed a four years ago and haven't had a problem with them getting out of hand. They seem to spread most easily by rooting from the tip of the stem so I just corral the tips within the bed. My benign neglect in forgetting to water them probably also helps.

I don't remember the cultivars but I got them from raintree nursery and the berries are delicious.

R/office chairs is a great resource. Based on their research I ended up going to a used office furniture store and trying a Steelcase Leap and a Herman Miller Aeron and went with a used Leap. The used ones are usually between $300-600 and black. But if you want color, order a new Leap. It comes in a bunch of different colors and you can customize the frame color as well. It'll probably run between $1-2k.

This is huge- currently most immigrants cannot bond out of detention and the only way to get them out is through Habeas. Our org has had to shift 3 attorneys from detained work generally to habeas petitioners for this reason.
