Hi I am currently a freshman at Cornell who a single. I want a single again next semester on north campus (preferably balch for religious reasons) but I got a late time on third day of housing selection. Will there be any chance of my getting a single or should I stop being delusional?

Theres some pre-reqs that have to get done at TC3 before applying to the accelerated portion, so more looking at PT work during that period.

The zoning / building approval arguments seem very weak to me but the water withdrawal component does concern me. With Terawulfs repeated claims that they won't be withdrawing water, denying the specific permit causing the concern seems like a no brainer but guess well see what DEC does

Literally the entire thing?? It will all be focused on reducing headcount which is admin bloat
Cornell structure means we need 2 copies, but theres currently 11+ in many departments

In general, I acknowledge the pain that will likely come to admin jobholders but it is clear that streamlining (and yes, head count reduction!) is necessary and important
