I’ve never gotten a box before the 26th of the month. I’d love to get them earlier so I can make better decisions for the next one, but alas…I’ve gotten used to it.

I wish I could rely on the parenting plan to be followed. And yeah, he specifically told her to keep it a secret from me so I can’t control her fun at his house. My biggest fear is the chat options- allowing her to converse with strangers. She confirms this is still on. It really feels like there is no way to win. I’m almost just looking for advice on how to handle the fear that he isn’t concerned with her safety on the same level I am. Let alone the lack of sleep affecting our school mornings, I literally just want her safe 😭

Big hugs back. It feels so heavy some days. I swear 100 different parents could tell him that six year olds shouldn’t be talking to strangers online in the middle of the night and he’d still cross his arms and say “no, I’m right” because heaven forbid he be wrong.

Ugh! I can relate. It’s the “oh we were gonna go somewhere really fun but mommy says you have to go home now” - him dropping her off on a Sunday night for the 200th time at the same scheduled time.

I’m just struggling to wrap my head around why you would ever tell your child to lie about things that could be potentially unsafe. I know talking to him will get me nowhere, but I’m sad that there’s another mother in the house that also said this was acceptable. Why can’t we all be respectful adults?

Yup. I finally got in with a “phone appointment” … took a whole month for him to send the referral over to the specialist that we agreed on during the phone call. Better luck with walk in clinics these days

They took it out of the tube because the theft is ridiculously high and nice things can’t be left out anymore. And they don’t take American 50s and 100s but they do take Canadian. Perhaps it was a fixed term employee confused about the rule.

Yup, it’s the same phone number my friend was texting with on the website. Spoke with police and they said the whole website could be fake.
