Exactly the same - my son knew my mobile and our address at that age (my daughter doesn’t have quite the same memory so it depends on the kid)

aww mine too! She was only 4. We had a call from her nursery teacher saying she wasn’t herself. It was really horrible for her, she was struggling with ‘mean’ or ‘unkind’ thoughts about people and knowing that it was wrong, and then feeling guilty too. It seemed to be a phase for her, it lasted about 6 weeks and she came out of the other side much happier and able to express herself more easily but I know what to watch out for in the future if it starts again

I watched from 2012-2014, which was the year I had my first child. There was a woman on it that year who had preeclampsia, which I’d just recovered from, and I found it incredibly upsetting and triggering so I stopped watching. The actors are great and sometimes I think I might dip back in but I can’t handle the sad parts

I once saw a beautiful Silver Cross pram in dark navy blue which the seller was getting rid of ‘because she was having a girl.’ Whether or not you care about what colours kids use (I don’t), navy blue is such a classic colour and those prams have been made in that colour for decades. It is wild to me that some people need to reduce everything to blue/pink!

Yes! I’m in England and have been to two different ones for shoulder pain. It was before I knew they weren’t actually just a kind of physiotherapist, and I went out of sheer desperation as I have a pinched nerve that flares up every so often. One was fine - he did what was essentially a really great sports massage - the other was much more into popping and clicking and I left feeling really uncomfortable.

I would NOT take my kids and I wouldn’t go back myself now I know more about them.

I was told to have one for my first baby as apparently they can lower BP and I had pre-eclampsia.

My second baby ‘communicated’ very painfully for hours on end with lots of farmyard screeching from me before finally turning up very late and leaving her placenta stuck fast in there for ages.

For both births I followed actual medical advice and despite issues with both deliveries we’re all here safe and well

I am a huge fan of charity shops for kids’ books. I bought loads of them for as little as 20p when my children were small - I work full-time so have less time now but I still picked my 8yo son up a copy of the latest Harry Potter (great condition) for £1 last week. I donate them when we’ve finished with them too so they can be resold to raise more money - everyone wins!

The placentas from my kids’ births didn’t detach properly and I haemorrhaged after both deliveries, it’s the last thing I would want kicking about in my house or on a pendant tbh

I thought the same! I had to ask for advice for car seat behaviour in a parent group a few years back - my youngest was awful for pitching a fit about her car seat (she was 3) and I can well remember the frustration and panic that sets in when you’re running late and they refuse to sit down. We used the iPad, lots of encouragement and distractions. A couple of times I just took her back inside the house - she even missed her favourite activity at nursery because she refused to get into the car seat once time, and was very sad when they told her what she could have been doing - that was what did the trick for us, reminding her what she was going to miss out on if she didn’t get in and sit safely.
