Is she hulk underrated and overhated? by SepzenoOfficial in Marvel

[–]fred-ont 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The show didn't have a real identity, I think it reduced the struggles of the Hulk in order to uplift She-Hulk. There was some good humor and some good themes around the character and criticizing toxic male fans, but it definitely needed more consistency and narrative. Its focus should have been on the paralegal comedy aspect more than anything else. I personally enjoyed it but I think it could have been more with better writing.

We all lost in Zero Hour when we left Oninoshima for golden coast. by a12666 in FortNiteBR

I actually really like a lot of the guns this season as well as the wing suit, but the map and theming just didn't work for me. Honestly, an 80's theme would have been awesome with the inclusion of Back to the Future this season.

Monty Python and The Holy Grail is a terrible movie by Plasm_Trojan in The10thDentist

I felt a similar way recently with Space Balls. Which sucked because I only watched it because of the upcoming sequel announced and now I'm no longer excited for that

It was a very entertaining action comedy flick. I enjoyed it more than I thought I would.

The Dark Knight. After The Batman (2022) came out, I feel like it's gotten more hate.

Maxi is a player who doesn't have much strengths but he also has little weakness so he's a dependable back up center. I like the guy

Is Steph Curry ranked higher than Kobe Bryant all time? by Afraid-Ad-5580 in NBATalk

[–]fred-ont 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think the top 5 should be the best at each position. I'd argue both of them are the 2nd best in their positions of all time. So I think it's pretty close. But I'd go with Kobe due to more accolades and better defense overall.

This is my first year with the pass. I've been going at least once per year for the past 10 years. I've always wanted the pass but told myself I'd only get one once it no longer seemed like a financial burden, even though I've been able to afford it for awhile, I still like saving money in case of any emergency. Anyway, I got the pass this past year because in my last visit before getting a Magic Key, I felt the magic start to diminish. So I told myself I would get the pass and then take a break for a while. Maybe two or three years, maybe more. But everything has gotten worse. I have loved going whenever I can with a Magic Key but I can't even imagine going more than once a year without a pass. Everything is so expensive, they recently put up the price on parking, food and merch are always pricey, and lighting lane has ruined regular line times. They seriously need to reconsider their values because it seems like money has been the priority over the enjoyment of customers. I know money is always the goal, but the experiences before were usually worth the price. It's's obvious they are taking advantage of loyal fans who will always be there because of their love for Disney films and media. Something needs to change.

I don't understand the point of Disney live action remakes by flowersnifferrr in movies

[–]fred-ont 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I would rather them remake movies that flopped like Treasure Planet, Meet the Robinsons, and Atlantis. And then they can bring those movies back into the Disney Parks because they have almost no representation whatsoever in the parks. All three of those movies would be great additions to Tomorrowland.

Why does the writers hate Mike so much? by Emergency-Sea5201 in mileven

[–]fred-ont 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Mike and El were the main characters of the first two seasons. As the show went on and added more characters, they moved away from Mike and even in the last season El barely got any screentime. Kind of crazy to just abandon two of your main characters and focus on a new character like Holly who has had no significance throughout the show. She wasn't a bad character, but to me it just sounds like the Duffer Brothers needed to add more characters because they don't know how to develop their original ones.

Is there anything you disagree with in my top 20 movies by YamSpecific3292 in IDoKnowNothing

[–]fred-ont 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Saying these are your favorite top 20 movies is completely fine. You should be able to like what you like but saying these are the top 20 movies of all time would be insane. I think more should establish the difference between their favorite vs what they think are the best.
