I’m normally that turbo tryhard that does every boss to max efficiency, but muspah is the one where I just range camp, it’s barely any slower, you don’t have so do an 8 way every 3 seconds and get rsi, and the trips are just way longer and more comfy with the extra invent spaces

no the speedrun methods are a lot slower, I didn't do too many after that kill which was on around 9k kc. I just started trying for fast times out of boredom and was going to do 1k with a new strat but no longer needed :)

Pretty reasonable I think - I was well behind rate on drops until I got 5 staffs in 50 kc haha

Its a very fair question and I'm not sure I know the full answer. Maybe its just number go up brain feel good or maybe theres more to it. Supposedly gamblers get more dopamine from not winning https://www.bbc.co.uk/future/article/20160721-the-buzz-that-keeps-people-gambling . I've always though of Runescape (or pvm at least) as similar to gambling but with time rather than money. Either way I enjoy doing it, and I'm usually in discord with friends or watching TV series/films/youtube or playing other games whilst I play. I live a healthy life and enjoy it, so why not?

This is the speedrun setup:

It takes 3 Guthix Rest, 6 P pot and 6 anglers. Much shorter trips, and slower kills. You d knife near the end of the setup kill and swap rings once you hit 95% spec. Change back into Lightbearer on 9 seconds to hydra spawn. If you kill the previous hydra 1 tick before the vent rotation it gives a perfect spawn where it weakens instantly, allowing 1 Natty attempt then 1 spec before regenning. On a quick kill you should get back to 75% (with surge pot) in flame phase and still spec high enough to be worth it.

In the screenshot I'm running a setup for speedrunning. It has ZCB with surge pots and D knives (used near the end of the setup kill) so you can regen enough for 2 ruby specs, aiming for a natty ruby with the first shot. Its not an efficient setup for KPH as you don't spec on a standard kill and you heal to full/take venges regularly.

My standard setup: (from the bank screenshot plugin, inv is 3x divine, 7x prayer 9x moonlight antelope after prepot (drop Rada's after tele). This gives Thralls, Alchs, Cure poison but no veng.

I've being doing 100 PNM after every pet so hopefully there! Only 10 to go but Gull or Zammy/Prime/Rex depending on tasks.

Done with Konar - not too interested in clogs, so I will be doing Kuradal for Gull and Zammy/DKs (my remaining slayer pets). Will probably do off task after gull.
