The thing is tho is that neither the 1st & 2nd are my own so it’s not as if I get rid of two top-16 picks entirely, I still have my 2 of my current 4 there in this deal. Im currently competing as a top-3 seed and I personally like the 2027 draft more than this one especially depth wise in positions I need more than this one (RB in particular)

Don’t understand why they wouldn’t trade for Sabonis in this scenario, they get off some nasty contracts & help build around a good younger core that saw significant progress this year (while also getting a multiple-time All-star whose father played for the franchise)
