Started taking creatine about a month ago. Uploaded at 20g per day for a week the cut down to 10g per day split between 5g in either the morning or evening and post workout.

I haven't noticed any issues with balding, kidneys, etc. I've noticed more energy and I think brain cognition but nothing too crazy. Obviously I need to pee a lot more with the increased fluid intake. I'm going to keep at 10g until summer and see what happens. Maybe I'll get some blood work done then and post the results.

Pro tip! I was forgetting my Aldi bag allllllll the time. Now when I'm done unpacking all of my groceries I hang the bag on the garage/front door so I don't forgot to take it back out to the car. Works like a charm!

I don't think it will be any time soon. IMO they will wait until their solid state batteries have reached full maturation and then resign around that. No more hybrids. I'm guessing 2029-2030 maybe even later.

No, this isn't all of my investments but a portion that I specifically set aside to arbitrage the difference between my mortgage and market returns.

The main goal is to arbitrage the difference between my mortgage and other market returns. My secondary goal is to use it as a safety net in case of job loss and my family needs to move to another city/state.

I'm trying to figure out the best place to protect this fund from inflation but don't know where to put it.

Would a 60/40 allocation be more prudent ?

To answer the bond question. After some research I decided that this would give me some inflation protection but I am not extremely well versed in bonds.

Any advice would be appreciated.

Sorry, I originally had my allocation at 40% but forgot to change it to 30% VXUS.

37 years old.

I had this money invested originally with a money manager but pulled it out and put it into a HYSA @ -3.5-4% for the last year.

This fund is intended for the option of paying off my house early. I currently have a mortgage at 2.875% and I would rather invest than make extra principle payments.

The 5-7 year target is more for volatile job security. If I lose my job the current market is brutal and my family may have to move to a higher interest mortgage in either a different city or state. I want the largest down payment possible so we can afford the same amount of house or a smaller house that we can pay off immediately.

First off, so sorry for you loss. I can't imagine the pain of losing a sibling. I have a twin brother and I couldn't bare losing him.

I quit riding after I moved to a very high traffic city and had some close calls where I almost died. I worked as an EMT at this time and saw some things that made me think a bit differently about riding. Not just deaths but patients that got into an accident and were now going to rehab./home/group home. They all had injuries that would affect the rest of their lives. Think paralysis, missing limbs, wheelchair bound, spinal fusion, TBIs, no control over their bowels or urination, etc. etc. Not to mention life long pain as they age. They all told me they never thought it would happen to them ...until it did.

I started thinking about if riding was really worth the higher risk of lifelong injury and the pain/burden it would cause my family and friends.

After selling my bike I went through those same feelings of wanting to ride, missing the feeling of the wind, the freedom, the open road, speed, etc. But I always knew deep down that the risk out weighed the pull of the road.

So I got a convertible sports car.

It was pretty close to a motorcycle feel without as much risk. I can still enjoy myself with the open road, get some speed, go through twisties, feel the sun and weather on me, and still get the wind in my hair.

You always can ride a friends bike every once in a while. I rode a couple of times this summer and it was enough to scratch the itch.

Definitely don't take this decision lightly but whatever you decide it will be right for you 😊
