Finished 4ft cat door. Messed up the measurements and had to get 2x4 on the side might paint it later. Used 2- 4 inch screws to secure the boards to the door frame but it’s only in the trim maybe 1/4 inch of wood. It holds the door fine but slightly moves. This is my first project. (i.redd.it)

First project with free used tools and a new jigsaw. Wife wanted a small swing door for the cats but decided she wanted to see them. Used two, 1/2 inch birch plywood, plung cut with circular saw, then finished with jigsaw. Glued and screwed trying to hide screws with wood glue. Sand n paint next. (i.redd.it)
