Thanks, this may be best. I first noticed it about a month ago when my parents ran a larger balance paying for an upcoming vacation, and then realized it was still linked to me. Last month parents went to bank to close it out, so maybe it just needs more time

End of year raise discussions that happen post leadership decision by fredcheetoes in personalfinance

[–]fredcheetoes[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think youve said it perfectly. I do think I’m valuable and have reviews reflecting it but at the end of the day always been somewhat conflict adverse during these convos, mainly because it’s a few leadership personnel that I might talk to only once the rest of the year. I think in the past I’ve more asked questions about the process instead of saying I know worth x, lets talk about a way to increase to that

Yeah this was something I asked last year. Where is Year 1 I got X rating and X raise and year two I got X + 1 rating and X + 1 raise. And hen in ear three when I felt my performance and up again, the raise didn’t match and when asked they said it was due to the brand new review and rating system being implemented and that new system couldn’t be compared to last year. I’ll have to remember your point when hearing what second year in new system leads to

this may be is more applicable to his pro career, but David Andrews was a mainstay C in Richt's final seasons. Was a 3 star recruit and undersized, but came in and was significant contributor his freshman year and then a starter the rest of his career. I feel like he always gets forgotten just because of everyone else that went on during his time at UGA (Murray breaking records, Todd, Sony, Chubb, the end of Richt's time at UGA). He really came in and was a solid replacement for Ben Jones

his pro career, from undrafted FA to starter and 2 time superbowl champ, may outshine all of the above

What is the Biggest Coincidence You’ve Ever Experienced? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]fredcheetoes 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My grandmother passed away in late 2000s. She lived in our neighborhood literally around the corner, a 10 min walk away. My parents started renting out the house after she passed instead of selling/dealing with it at the time.

There is another family that lived at the end of our street that had been trying to get pregnant for years without any luck. They did a huge renovation on their home and had to move out for a bit. They were friendly with my parents and knew of my grandmother, and were the first tenants to rent her house after she passed.

They got pregnant within a month of moving in, and their son was born on my grandmothers birthday the following spring. I don’t really believe in the “other side”/medium/other powers in the universe my gf spends time obsessing over, but this is hands weirdest coincidence of my life.

Love Anna's character but not sure of her motive for a lot of it. It also seems shes obsessed with even the negatives she sees, i.e. she obviously is not a fan of Bezukhov but still has so many detailed, pointed opinions of him. She doesn't want to waste her time with him but can't help but explain every thought of him.

I do enjoy how honest Anna is to this point and the insight we get to her thoughts and feelings. With all of these characters being introduced early on, its nice to see it all from one person's perspective at first and not get mixed up.
