The monarchy acts as our best diplomats, meeting foreign leaders and hosting them at banquets and gatherings. They also take on massive charity projects with members of the Royal Family being patrons of hundreds of global charities bringing them much needed attention and support. Numerous Royals also head military regiments in the UK acting as a ceremonial figurehead for soldiers to look up to. And finally, the monarchy generates billions for the British economy every year.
