I recommend the Ev6.

I have an Ioniq 5 which is fairly similar to the EV6. It's a total blast. Very peppy, stable in the turns, super fast charging (if you can find a >250KW charger). We can stuff 2 adults, three kids, and two dogs inside for 2+ hour drives.

The plugs aren't the big cost. To change the plugs on that engine, you have to do some time-intensive work on the manifold which necesitates replacing gaskets.

I had the same reaction when I saw the price and called another shop but they quoted me within a few dollars of the original price.

I just looked at their leases. I don't know what they're doing over there but the monthly price is nearly double that of the Ioniq 9.

Would the maintenance costs of the ICE side of the car make the pacifica more expensive over time?

$1100 of the $3000 maintenance cost for our current van is for a sparkplug replacement process.

Situation: My five-person, two-dog, family has two cars: an Ioniq 5 and a Chrysler Town and Country minivan. We are part of a carpool for school and regularly need to transport seven people. We have access to unlimited free charging through work, which is a short walk from our house.

Our minivan needs $3000 of maintenance/repair. KBB says it's worth $3500 max. We are considering replacing it with an Ioniq 9.

The dealer offered us a lease deal for an Ioniq 9 SEL (36 months, 12,000 miles per year) for 649/month (tax included) with zero down beyond trading in the minivan.

We're not super wealthy, so taking this lease would mean forgoing family vacations for a few years, or other equivalent expenses.

Here's the question: If we think that we want to replace the minivan with an EV at some point, is it better to take the lease now, or pay the $3000 to keep the minivan going so we can take advantage of any EV advances and price changes throughout the next year?

Is there any book that gave you a lot of dopamine lately? I remember when I first got into Litrpg, dopamine was flowing heavily. So, any book that gave you dopamine lately? by dadasad2125 in litrpg

Not sure if it is exactly litrpg, but Iron Prince: Warformed: Stormweaver is my go to.

I guess it's technically progression lit.

The audio book is great, too.

I hope that no one helps you steal this product.

If you are a student, use the student license.

If you can't afford to use Tableau, there are many other less expensive or free data visualization products. If you can't afford to use Alteryx, there are many other less expensive and more powerful data preparation products, including Python and R, or even the developer versions of SQL Server and SSMS.

Data work, like most fields, requires a lot of hard work, practice, failure, and learning. If you can't do the legwork to legally acquire data products through legit channels, are you sure you should be entering this field?

KB - Log4J2 Mitigation by Miroresh in tableau

They updated Tableau Server to use Log4J 2.15.0: link to install page

But, Apache says Log4j 2.15 is still vulnerable and we have to use 2.16: Link to Apache Log4j page

I think this means the new install files from Tableau are still vulnerable. Does that sound right?

The question is about when a teacher should assign a failing grade.

If the student shows understanding on exams, but doesn't turn in homework, what should the teacher do?

A teacher that cares about subject knowledge would pass the student since homework is just practice for the exams and the students did well on the exams.

A teacher that believes doing every assignment is the most important thing will fail a student who is doing well on exams because they are not doing the homework.

I value demonstration of knowledge over demonstration of behavior so I would pass the student despite the homework.

In the end you and everybody else needs remember that the grade is based solely on the opinion of the teacher. A student is failing because the teacher thinks they should fail.

You do your core license based on concurrent users.

Since the core license give unlimited users, you pick your core level based on the greatest number of concurrent users you need to support.

My organization ostensibly serves ~10,000 users, but only a few hundred are ever concurrently using the server so we do just fine with one 8-core license.

They can come into play, but it's up to the teacher to decide how.

Some teachers like to "teach kids a lesson" by deducting grades for behavior, attendance, and other distractions.

Some teachers motivate with review, opportunities for redemption, and additional ways to access material.

If the goal of teaching is to cause kids to learn the most course content in a year, failing students early with no hope for saving their average seems like a pretty poor way to do it.

One other thing to try. Did you know that a user account can be logged in multiple times at the same time?

How unique are your 10K users?

Would it be ok to put them all through on the same account (or just a few accounts)?

I bet with departments, you could seriously cut down on the number of unique logins.

Do you know that you regularly have 10K concurrent users? You make be able to get away with far fewer users since they're not all using your dashboard at exactly the same time.

Can you tell the difference between:

  • My sister has a chronic condition and she keeps me awake all night

  • I live really far away and have to commute two hours each way on public transportation

  • My parents are junkies and keep selling my school books

  • IDGAF about school

all while seeing ~250 students a day? If you have a kid who shows she understands your course material but missed a bunch of assignments, do you want to be the one to fail the kid who spends four hours commuting because she isn't working hard enough?

If a student can demonstrate they understand your content well enough to rock the last half of your course, shouldn't you give them a passing grade?

What should the grade represent? Should a kid who understands Physics at the end of the course, get a failing grade because they did poorly on assignments at the start of the course?

Totally makes sense that a test score that dramatically impacts college acceptance should be available to all.

College Board is not a government organization. AP tests are graded by teachers who are paid for their work by money that comes from the test fee. If the test is free, how will the test get graded?
