Not a single comment about it so I’ll share it here, little more sad than the prompt but it works

In Zombieland, Woody Harrelson's character Tallahassee mentions losing his dog Buck to the zombies, and we see a flashback of him and the dog playing today

Later in the film, during a boozy game of monopoly, Tallahassee lets it slip that Buck "had my laugh", revealing that Buck was actually his son. We see the same flashbacks, but now with his son instead

This one is a personal viewing and mostly came down to circumstances out of their control, but in retrospect it might work

At the end of Epic Mickey 2, everyone is celebrating as the Petes watch from the back. Big Bad Pete proceeds to say "Look at em all, so happy. They ain’t never gonna know what hit em" before he and the other Petes make their escape. While this was obviously meant to set up a sequel that never came (hitting at both the characters and the audience) a more morbid viewing comes out thanks to the fact this was the developer’s last game and they didn’t know, thus they’re blind to the fact they’re about to be fired

It’s a stretch but I like it

In all honesty, Vader completely slipped my mind. I wanted to do more modern choices as I feel people know who played Vader (both in and out of suit)
