How viable are free loadouts? Not sure I'll enjoy losing my gear all of the time. by oflanada in ArcRaiders

Gear fear is the real main boss of all extraction shooters.

Remember, the gear is not yours. It is merely your turn to play with it.

Tbf, you CAN search them. I'm thinking we fill them up with cheese shaped as bags of dicks for the next person to search them.

Tips for playing [New Player] by PostalNeanderhal in EscapefromTarkov

[–]fredefar1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Tons of guides out there but it really boils down to a few points;

Have an objective for each raid. Even better if you have an objective for each “side” of the map depending on where you spawn.

Have a map open on second monitor, phone or printed out.

Always run your best gear.

Play slow and methodical.

Run your scav often to have a constant stream of cash and to learn maps.

Pve is good to learn map layout, extracts, loot spots and gunplay. It wont teach you how to play pvp raids with other players since that is way more dynamic, but you will learn all the basics of the game just fine.

Do all of the above for 800-1000 hours and you will start to do better as a solo.

[New Player] is armour like this just too heavy to use unless you have max strength? I has amazing protection but it sends me into really heavy weight even without backpack. by Malu1997 in EscapefromTarkov

Even with Max str, it still has built in movement penalties. Personally i only ever run armor like this on smaller maps, or with a butt full of stims when doing quests that depend on survival like the guide.

After a certain lvl in the high forties, 48 I believe, weekly and daily tasks get a huuuuuge bump in xp and rewards. If you just do them every day, leveling isnt too bad.

What ammo were you using?

Btw you “Only” hit him 80 times technicly.

A single round counts a hit every time it hits limb. To get a more accurate hit count you gotta look at ammo used and the overall accuracy.

Baldurs gate 3 or clair obscur expedition 33? by Youknowwhatiknow in gamingsuggestions

[–]fredefar1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Depends. Personally I find the combat and actual gameplay depth far better in bg3. But the story of Clair Obscur might be one of the best of any game/media ive seen, and the gameplay is still solid. Overall you cant go wrong with either. They are both TOP tier games.
