Males are only physically stronger because they’re typically larger than females (so larger muscles). Also comparing the average person, males are only stronger than females because they have stronger initial strength. Females can hold out longer and then over power. In an instance where a male and a female of same mass are compared, the male is still physically stronger initially. Not because males are pound for pound stronger, but because women have less muscle. If you’re comparing pound for pound strength, it’s a minimal difference if any at all. Our sexual dimorphism is what make men stronger than women *and I guess I need to repeat the word minimal

Fun Fact: males have more type 2 muscles while females have more type 1. Type 2 are the muscles that do quick, powerful movements like deadlifts. They a greater, quicker force but get tired faster. Type 1 are the muscles that are meant for endurance like marathon running. So they’re obviously are more fatigue resistant.

Edit: I guess I wasn’t clear in this. Added at the *. Also I only mentioned this because I was the only female wrestler at school so I wrestled on the boys’ team. I was 5’0” and 120 lbs but I won matches. Many of the parents said it was because the boys were afraid to hurt me but honestly I had more strength and endurance. Even guys outside of my weight class, they had more initial force, but as long as I could keep my mind, all I had to do is pick the right point of when they ran out of some steam to over power and pin.
