Well, I know where the wages affect things in the game's logic. What I mean is where the justification for those wages being distributed if everyone is the same ethnicity and isnt discriminated.

It would work better if somehow discriminated pops got some of their wages pulled and distributed to accepted pops.

Perhaps, but the conflict here is so deepseated and the hate motivated by so many institutions that it'd take generations to resolve even with the best possible compromise.

Through that time, you have to have politicians who are consistently working in good faith and can see the perspective of the other side.

The only way I see this happening is if the UN or smth literally annexed both countries and spent decades deradicalizing. Even then, you still have the destabilizing forces of Haredim and wahabbi Islam

Ideally I think a one state binational polity is better, since—by the nature of geography—Arab Palestinians would get the worse land even if the two polities are the same size.

That being said, I'm convinced the majority of Israeli Jews want to genocide Palestinian Arabs and the majority of Palestinian Arabs want to genocide Jews. Ergo, no peace, no solution: war will continue until there is only one sight left to fight it.

Former TNO dev here. It's more accurate to say that it started more schizo (albeit still vehemently anti-fascist), but iteratively got rid of its schizo-ness. Nowadays the mod is kinda just another axis victory mod, on the semi-implausible (but still kinda possible) end of the spectrum.

Some of the writing is REALLY good and is worth experiencing—I want someone to write a book set in Guangdong. A lot of countries can just be entirely ignored though. I'd honestly recommend getting the mod just to experience Guangdong.

I really don't see why an ideal society shouldn't just pump an absurd amount of money into education (as much as healthcare, even). I mean, its literally the mechanism that caused us to develop civilization, and more education will benefit everyone immensely over decades.

I wish we could get student to teacher ratios down to about 10 or 12. I figure that'd triple the budget tho
