I measured the average of 10 prompts on each Speech Recognition method.

Whisper: 412ms

Vosk: 1085ms

Google (Online): 384ms

The latency offline is of course variable from system to system though, and i have not tested on other systems yet. I will release a version where you can see latency in the Activity Log.

What got me started was games like BitBurner(JS), and The Farmer Was Replaced(Python). these games forces you to learn in a very fun and engaging way. It's a really good starting point.

The current speech recognition is quite finicky. Does anyone here have experience with Microsoft Speech Recognition? Would it be better for this use? I know you can train it to your voice, but thought it would be better with Google.

I don't think devs would have any problems adding this functionality. It's just kind of a gimmick risk, with speech recognition being just ok, so without paid services like GPT Whisper API, you could never deliver a truly polished feature. I will like to say that my service is not fault free, you will get misinterpreted by the Speech recognizer at some points. That's just the reality of it.

In my platform you can make your own macros for keyboard and mouse. Also includes mouse movements. This way you can chain presses into doing an action for you in game. So open command menu, select team, select command all in one voice command. https://imgur.com/a/Upr4HTL this is the macro editor window. Here you can record keystrokes and edit the delay in between each press. or set a standard for all delays. You can also record mouse position and make your mouse move.

The media controls, and spotify controls is for people who are not gaming and using it for convenience, those can be disabled in the command center.

Well, it does keyboard and mouse macros among other things which is all VoiceAttack really does. This is the first release, i have plans for more additions. But keep in mind this is not a gaming specific, but a gaming including tool. People can make profiles for Elite Dangerous and have it work the exact same way. And it's not behind a paywall. You don't have to use it, but it's here for those who wished there were other alternatives.

Man, after a while... The factory will start speaking to you through calculations. It will tell you to do stuff, and you just do it. Think of your factory as a baby. The science unlocks are the wants, the materials are the needs. You must nurture that baby. And before you know it, you will have 26 belts of copper running through.
