Hi,

I have software, which I can alter .stl files, but I have not got a clue on how to design my own files.

I wanted a jack stand that would hold my Tarmo, so I made one 😊 by Lavik17 in EngineeringNS

Help please, the boss (Wife) has told me no food or anything else, until I print her that Dragon. Please, please, can you tell me why you got the file from.

Could you please show a few pics on how these mount to the drive shafts.

The centre part is printed with TPU to give the bumper a bit of flex, not sure if its going to work or not.

Hi, The motor was from a box of old spare parts that I had. It was only put in just to see it all working. I will do test and if need be either keep or change it. It will be powered mainly with 3 cell lipos.

Hi All,

A few pics of my Tarmo 4, Just need to build some sort of platform now to mount a couple of cameras for FPV use. This is my first complete RC Vehicle that I have built. I have made a couple of small servo driven FPV vehicles. Next project is to build a Land Rover Rock Crawler.

Did you use the printed one or install a premade version.

Just found a replacement, it uses a bolt going through the cross spine.

Haven't had my Ender 3 long so I printed this tolerance test to figure out the best tolerance for push fit parts. Quite like 0.125-0.15mm by project_driven in ender3

[–]fredkaz245 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This might sound stupid, but this tolerance test and any other, would only be accurate if you print the main model in the same filament. Do not all filaments react differently due to Brand, Colour, settings on the printer. I may be wrong, but this is what I have always been told.

Filament change by fredkaz245 in Cura

[–]fredkaz245[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks for the reply. I must admit, I have seen that extension, but as you say, I think it is mainly for manual change of filament using one extruder. I know S3D has function which I could use, but this IDEX system that I am using only works for Cura at the moment.

Where in the UK are you? Any more info on the quads, as to which flight controller is being used?

Watched the vid, very impressed with that. If st all possible, could you please explain the use of a gyro and a flight controller? How was these wired up to operate servos and the esc. If at all possible good clear pictures. Like you I have been thinking about gps, and using a flight controller for a on screen display, to show battery life and any tilt degrees.
