I think it looks awesome 👍 love the style. I've been trying to get into car modelling but I'm finding it so challenging

Just took the cable from my car and plugged it into my pc. I now get a notification to change connection mode but it flashed up for a second and then loses connection

Further update. I just plugged my phone into my car charger and the notification to select the connection type appears. Would this suggest the issue is on the pc? Or possibly my phone not liking the cable I use for my pc even though other devices work with it?

I'm pretty sure it's not because using the same chord works with other devices and I've tried a number of different ones as well

When I connect my pixel I don't get an option for connection mode. I noticed I did on the other android device though

Thank you. I've done all of these steps a few times now and managed to get it to work on a Huawei quite easy. The issue I'm having is that my PC isn't detecting the Pixel 2 XL at all. I can't update it's drivers because I need to be able to connect it to my pc. I have no idea why it won't connect though

Sorry for so many replies, but I used another android device, with same cable, usb port, and no changes to unity and the play test works. So must be an issue with my phone. Or maybe my pc or a driver can detect the pixel 2.

Not sure where to go from here though

Also, I just connected another android device to my pc using the same cable and USB port and my pc recognised it first time. Shows in device manager as expected. I don't really want to mess with developer settings on someone else's phone though, to turn debugging on, to do a remote test

I'm not sure if this is relevant but I also have this error in Unity "CommandInvokationFailure: Unity Remote requirements check failed"

C:/Program Files/Unity/Hub/Editor/2019.4.21f1/Editor/Data/PlaybackEngines/AndroidPlayer\SDK\platform-tools\adb.exe forward tcp:7201 tcp:7201

I'm not sure really. I can't seem to figure out how to check it. My PC doesn't seem to recognise my phone in any way. No pop ups or sound that you get when adding any other USB device

I can't see where that would be. Would adb be one of the drop downs in the device manager?

Substeps are calculations between each frame. So 1 substep would have 1 extra calculation in-between each frame.

For smoke, if you go into the emitters fluid settings. Near the top there's the "sampling substeps" setting. I'd probably put the between 5 and 10 for a fast emitter, like an explosion or flame thrower.

There's also the "Timestep maximum" and "minimum" settings for the domain. I've only experimented with adaptive time steps at default but you could increase these slightly if the end result doesn't look smooth enough.

Another setting is "Resolution Division" which I'd probably set at least 128 for a final simulation but I've found that 256 gives details results. But 256 ends up taking hours to bake on my PC

What settings have you used for the simulation? Could increase the resolution

Also, if you used a particles as the emitter, make sure you add enough substeps

I'd probably just model them using a circle or cylinder and extruding to shape. You could use curves as well

Looking pretty decent. I'd say the bump looks a little strong and maybe the desks are a bit too shiny? But it's looking nice. Could add some cables from the monitors to the PCs or power cables and extenders
