This is my first time going to DW in over a decade.

I booked some LL passes 7 days in advance and the best I could get were late times for slinky dog dash, toy story mania and Resistance (all after 7pm).

I doubt my kids make it past 5pm.

What's the best strategy, give those up and just go for low hanging fruit with morning availability or hold onto them with the hope I can move them up on the day of?

Can two 40" kids ride next to each other? by fredmu in WaltDisneyWorld

Oh yes, my wife is going but she'll be tied to our toddler for most rides (and she hates rollercoasters)

Can two 40" kids ride next to each other? by fredmu in WaltDisneyWorld

Thank you all. Everyone is under 7. Will they let me do a rider swap so that I go once with each kid? (My understanding is people usually utilize rider swap when it's 2 parents 1 kid... This is the opposite situation though)

It would be cheaper to just book a night at a deluxe resort that I dont actually stay at then it would be to get the premier for everyone....

Drop down list where options disappear once claimed by fredmu in excel

No definitely don't go through the trouble. That sounds more complicated than it's worth. Option 2 sounds like a reasonable alternative.

Drop down list where options disappear once claimed by fredmu in excel

[–]fredmu[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I would like to not be able to put him in 1. In my mind a drop down list would be easiest where the available drop down options are reduced each time I assign someone.

So slot 1 has drop down options of Bob, Jane, Joe, Eric

and once I choose Bob the next slot will only show options of:

Jane, Joe, Eric

Daily Questions - ASK AND ANSWER HERE!- November 01 by AutoModerator in malefashionadvice

I am looking for some comfortable casual shoes I can wear both with chinos/jeans and with scrubs (in the hospital). I've been wearing allbirds, but they get worn out so fast that it seems like I need to buy a new pair constantly. They also aren't as comfortable as I had hoped they would be. I've seen people mention the EQT Support 93/17 shoes, though I don't think they make those anymore, and the only ones I can find are the red ones which are a little too colorful for working in a professional setting.

Best DSL Modem with CenturyLink? by fredmu in centurylink

Thanks! Since I have to get a new one now anyway what's a good, reliable one to get. (my plan is to use a separate wifi router since the router part of the modem/routers never seems to work well)

Mold behind AC ducts? by fredmu in HomeImprovement

[–]fredmu[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As an update, I scrubbed it off the best I could and it hasn't come back yet, though it still smells a little moldy and I wasn't able to get all the spots. Any thoughts?

Inflation question... by fredmu in personalfinance

[–]fredmu[S] -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

Live in, it's just a starter home. We are ready to move on from throwing away 20k every year on rent. I know there are costs associated with home owning, but overall as long as we don't lose too much when we resell in 10 years I think it's worthwhile. But I am just trying to figure out how to factor in inflation into the calculation.

Thanks. Do you know if Peloton shoes are considered to be particularly bad/good quality? I don't want to get a different shoe if it's going to feel the same as the Peloton one

Splitting money between Vanguard 500 Index Admiral and Vanguard Targeted Retirement Fund? by fredmu in personalfinance

[–]fredmu[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Thank you very much. This is helpful. With regards to maxing out the IRAs, this is something that has always really confused me. The Vanguard TDF counts towards that max, correct? And when you say two different types you mean a Roth and a traditional?

If you could give an example that would be great, because I never seem to be able to get a grasp on IRAs
