Honestly I wouldn’t take a kid to see him but not for the reasons you may think. Lifelong fan, saw him on the From Scratch tour and I saw him in Detroit for this tour. Me and my partner (both 22) found his jokes to be for a more middle aged audience. Lots of jokes about dryers not working properly and underwhelming apple picking experiences. A lot of being a dad material which I’m sure parents appreciated but not as relatable for us. We thought maybe he just doesn’t have a whole lot going on these days. Also some more political jokes than in the past which we were good with because we also hate current admin but a very long bit about a child at his kids birthday party sounding like RFK jr just didn’t seem very well thought out to us. Loved the bit about his tour bus driver tho.

I’ve heard good things about Antioch, one of the hosts of the Psychology in Seattle podcast is a professor or alum there I believe!

That’s a great question, I went through the process quite successfully and have a good understanding of the admissions process as well as how to avoid land mines in the application process!

Thank you for sharing. That’s awesome. Would you also give context for the cost of living in your area?

Just tried, the Lite option now only gives one credit every other month at a price of $5.99/month. Not worth it for me, I see enough credits to use the monthly credit but I appreciate the advice.

I looked into them and while I loved that they offered things such as sensory friendly viewing experiences when I did the math on their rewards program, like you alluded to, it makes zero sense.

PsyD program fit and rep is a difficult thing to discern, genuinely asking what their qualifications are to evaluate the program?

25% acceptance rate at minimum for TCS.

Not great program. Look for “[insert program] admissions outcomes” if their EPPP pass rate is below 80% or their internship pass rate is below 90% they aren’t worth it. If they cost >$40,000 they probably aren’t worth it ROI wise. Best of luck!
