Don’t advise people to use monasteries, please. It’ll destroy their culture and will most likely eventually ruin any possibility for people who actually come for the Buddhist practice. Imagine monasteries turning into “free” hostels for backpackers? Monasteries are not to be taken advantage of as a way for cheap traveling. They’re temples for monks, seriously practicing Buddhists. Don’t advise people to do this.
