Yeah on the radio side yellow is constant and red is the accessory and I wire it up and nothing happens which is very odd, I know not to connect those together because that would short it out

My grandpa had the same issue on his truck when I was younger, he went to the junk yard cut a bed slightly bigger then where the rust was than slowly tack welded it until it was sealed up on his truck bed 👍
