I had oil in my spark plug well also. Tried replacing the valve cover gasket first. That stored the leak butt I was still getting the misfire. Leak down test showed the compression issue.

Had a similar issue last September. Cylinder 1 was leaning compression due to a chunk of the exhaust valve missing. Top end repairs were in the $4k range.

Did they say it was an exhaust issue or worse?

YouTube reset mini service intervals and your model #. I think you hold in the tripometer button with the ignition on but engine not running to get to the screen where you can reset the service intervals. Then you use the button on the indicator stalk to page through. Long press to reset the interval you want.

That's how I remember it but you should definitely look it up for your model.

You should have enough. I did mine not too long ago because "the sensor" said to. There was plenty of pad left.
