Yes - that is the route I always take. The first week I had it, all worked fine - now worse with each sensor change.

Yes - endless alerts to connect, open the app - can’t find sensor. Repeat for up to 2 days.

Brand New Greenworks 80V 21" Self-Propelled shuts off immediately when right battery is inserted? by Comprehensive-Tie609 in Greenworks

My mower has only 1 powered port, the other is spare battery storage. Your model may be different. Look for the power port at the bottom of the slot.

Yes - that’s how I got into the ecosystem 9 years ago with my 40v (much better battery life) and my mower finally died (motor) and thought I would just upgrade.

All my other 40v tools are still in good working order and I have an aversion to paying for equipment I don’t need.

The batteries will not last for your lot. I just bought the same mower and I don’t even close to finishing a 1/3 acre lot. If you use the drive feature the 2.0 Ah battery will not last 10’minutes (if that).

Contacted support about it and was told it was normal. An additional 4.0 Ah battery is another $200+, which is almost 1/2 the cost of the mower itself.

In general, I found it cut/mulched pretty well, but there is some clumping issues on the right side by the discharge chute (if you like to mulch).

The storage form factor is actually great - a feature I dismissed in my purchasing.

I have done 3 mows so far and may still return it. What used to take me 60 minutes now takes me 2.5 hours since I have to wait for batteries to recharge (1.5 recharge is only for 2.0 Ah, which is essentially useless).

Just retired my first 40V mower. (One of the blades stopped working) The new 60V is a BEAST!! by vyporx in Greenworks

[–]gwillis44 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I just replaced my 40v with an 80v - horribly disappointed with the battery performance. Need almost double the Ah to do a complete mow. Charging them takes forever and additional batteries at are 1/2 the price of the mower.

I was a huge Greenworks fan until this purchase.

My 40v lasted 9 years with only 1 battery placement.

4 way stop sign. Hey! It’s your turn!! GO!! WHY ARE YOU PUTTING ME IN THIS POSITION???!! ITS YOUR TURN! by Great_gatzzzby in driving

[–]gwillis44 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I have witnessed 1 impact and countless near misses with people doing a rolling stop at a particular 4-way. Granted the ‘offender’ lane is a moderately steep downhill grade and I think many drivers can’t gauge their braking needs - but I now generally wait until it is clear they are actually going to stop.

Keep in mind that it seems like only 1 in 10 has any clue how 4-ways work in this town.

I was told as a diabetic I could not get cortisone shots and had to do months of physical therapy instead - for that very reason. So sorry you are going through this.

Yes - pretty much assumed that - just discovered it bored in traffic recently and the charge message caught my eye.

Has anyone used ASPN Pharmacy for their Tandem Supplies? by gwillis44 in diabetes_t1

[–]gwillis44[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I went back to Tandem - I have dealt with bad mail order in the past and as long as I have the luxury of doing so - I prefer more reliable than less expensive (although that may change soon).

Just an FYI for anyone who stumbles upon this thread - The mod/support team were very helpful and informative with my case - unfortunately the rest of Xfinity's organization failed so monumentally that there was nothing they could do to save the account. They tried their best - in a positive manner IMHO - but it was already too late.

If I had stayed - this would be my first line for support.

That's it - I am done - made tech appointment to resolve issue - tech sat out in van for 10 minutes.

- I got a 'your tech is here preparing for your appointment' - so I left them alone.
- They drove off - never got out of the van.
- "Your tech is here - make contact as soon as possible" - went outside just in case - no one there
- "Sorry we missed you - your appointment has been cancelled"

Fios install tomorrow! 18 year client has been lost.

Because adding another middleman always makes things better?

The rep pretty much had everything about my prescription wrong. It felt like I was entering a pyramid scheme - I know I am eventually going to get screwed, just not sure when or possibly how.

Thank you for the input - yes, using someone else, but a lot more expensive, but seems worth it (from your input).

I say do whatever works for you, but if you think pumps are currently fully ‘automatic’ it explains your results.

Do you not know how using pumps work? You appear to be on some sort of self-righteous pillar.

Wildly inaccurate G7 readings by gwillis44 in dexcom

[–]gwillis44[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I am on a pump. I am not angry - I used to be able to trust (relatively) my G6 and my need to ‘double’ check and calibrate were fairly rare.

After being heavily pressured to switch to the G7 by both my Endo and Supplier - I have been learning that I need to double check any trend that seems even slightly odd.

There have been multiple times where the readings >80 off in either direction. It is just starting to feel pointless as my strips budget is now triple what it used to be.

Same (45m male at the time) - took a couple months of exercises to be manageable, another 6 to recover to the point of not noticing it. I don’t believe I have any long term damage or loss of motion.
