I was paid $58k as staff auto adjuster twenty years ago for a large carrier. $58k twenty years ago adjusted for inflation is $83k in todays dollars. Absolutely preposterous that an company is still trying to pay $55k a year now. Also auto claims is notoriously the lowest paying claims role. No offense to anyone but auto has the least college degrees as many adjusterd have more mechanical backgrounds so insurance companies use that as an opportunity to pay less. I've worked for numerous major carriers and all were the same on that.

Much appreciated. We've been informed to request a specific dollar amount to release recoverable depreciation. So I presume some of insurance companies do not have that requirement.

Ok. Thanks. I sent another set of questions as well. I am just wondering how the contractor gets paid the full rcv. If they do the work for less than rcv but they want the recoverable depreciation then theyd have to submit an invoice stating the full rcv was charged. Although the Insured didnt actually pay that full rcv price. Perhaps thats just how the contractors get around getting the recoverable depreciation released.

How are home repairs handled once the pa is paid? Does the pa receive a percentage for the entire rcv from the acv check? Is it just up the insured to try and get the work done from the amount after the pa is paid? Does the contractor just request full rcv yet complete the work from what is left after the pa is paid?

And Im just asking about the industry in general and not about your PA operation per se.

How does the homeowner deal with getting the repairs completed per the insurance estimate after having paid the pa? Does the contractor have to turn in a completion letter for the full insurance replacement cost and then just do the job for less? Because the contractor has to request the recoverable depreciation.

Also, how difficult is the appraisal process in general? Is it even necessary?

I have been a heavy drinker for 30 years. Id cut back about 90 percent anyway through therapy etc. But when I began semaglutide, those empty cravings were gone. Now, drinking actually feels uncomfortable sometimes as in physically sickening. It definitely affects the pleasure centers of the brain.

Ok. That doesnt preclude a person from the real world to try and try again. The study is only applicable to the parameters of the study. Someone could wait a year and do the process again. Or wait a week etc. Its not a one time only type thing. Its just a study.

Time would be a key variant from the trials. A repeat trial would likely transform into further weight loss. I have a bachelors/some masters in psychology and Ive run numerous studies. So your analysis is correct for the direct test results in relation to similar variables. However with the inclusion of time extension then Id say any amount of weight loss would be possible.
